MOST Comfortable Beds ....Which Resort?

I have some health issues - and an uncomfortable night's sleep will be the undoing of me when we travel ....so we're willing to pay to stay where the beds are most comfortable....anyone have a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed? And by comfortable, I mean a nice thick (soft) pillow top mattress with good support.....Thanks

We have stayed at ASSo, ASMo,POFQ,CBR, and the Poly & the most comfortable by far was the Poly. Even my dh liked the beds there & he is a big (300+, 6'2") guy.

We stayed at Coronado Springs last month, and they've just replaced all the mattresses (all rooms now have two queens or 1 king). The beds were fantastic compared to what we've had at the Value resorts.

Now of course, if I had to choose between a Sheraton Sweet Sleeper or the bed at Coronado, Sheraton would still win out, but it was still really comfortable.

Thw Swan and Dolphin have fantastic "heavenly" beds. The next best that we have slept on while on property were at OKW.

Stay away from the Wilderness Lodge!!!!!!!!!! Worse bed I ever slept in!

When did you go? We stayed at AKL in August and the room was totally renovated. We were the first ones in that room, (new carpet, beds, etc.) The bed was very, very comfortable.

Love the Dolphin & Swan and I agree that the beds at WL are not the best.

The Swan by far had the best beds!

Hands-down - Dolphin and Swan have the best Sweet Sleeper beds. The beds at the Beach Club were pretty good too but not nearly as good as S/D.

I also agree - do NOT stay at the WL if bed comfort is important to you!

Aside from he S&D (which are sheratons and all have heavenly beds) the best "Disney" hotel bed is the Grand Floridian imo. Never stayed at the POly but believe they have the same euro top matteresses from their own collection...very nice bed. We even considered ordering it at home.

Honestly the beds at the Contemporary are very comftorable and got even better after their room renovations.

Agree - The Swan and the Dolphin have the best beds and are owned by the Starwood resorts who have the Heavenly beds. Nothing at WDW compares to those beds.

The beds at Contemporary are SUPERB! I am a SUPER picky sleeper. I have a TempurPedic bed at home. I get hip pains from almost every other type of bed.

I slept like a baby at the Contemporary for a full week. I had some *minor* hip pain, but nothing like what I usually experience at hotels. The bed was excellent. This was three weeks ago in the Tower.

The Swan, the other resorts don't even come close. I am sure the Dolphin would be the same, but they are double beds and the Swan has queen beds.

I, too vote for the CR, and have a TempurPedic.

They have wonderful down comforters with high thread count duvets and sheets and heavenly mattress pads.

Another vote here for the Contemporary!
We have a $2000 mattress here at home and it was comparable to the Contemporary's.
Like sleeping on cloud 9!
Soft and luxurious.

Poly or BWI have amazing beds but the best go to the Swan/Dolphin

Best: GF RPC (not sure if regular GF rooms have the same mattresses as RPC)
Second best: Dolphin/Swan

We loved the beds at the Poly! Anybody know what kind of mattresses they use? Anybody there now want to take a look?
