Most asked for rerides at MK for young children

At age 2, DD wanted to ride Peter Pan and Small World over and over, and at EPCOT it was the boat ride in Mexico. Those were by far her 3 favorite rides. At age 6, she still wanted to ride Peter Pan over and over -- the liked the others and we rode them more than once but Peter Pan was the absolute favorite. Unfortunately, with FP+, it is no longer easy to get multiple rides on Peter Pan as the line so long- usually around an hour for a good part of the day. You could get 2, if you went there at rope drop and then booked at FP+ for later. When DD was a pre-schooler, there was no FP+, so Peter Pan was typically the only ride we got FPs for at MK-- the minute we were capable of getting a new FP, we did Peter Pan again until the FPs ran out for the day. We usually got 4 Peter Pan FP rides, and sometimes 5, on MK days.

I almost forgot Barnstormer- when DD was 3, there was no line for it one night and they just let us stay on and go around in circles. She rode it 14 times, and then only got off because DH could not do that ride even 1 more time. I gave up after 11.

Tomorrowland Speedway, Dumbo, Tea Cups, the Carousel, It's a Small World, and The Flying Carpets. Throw in some character meet & greets at Pete's Silly Sideshow and then repeat the whole thing. I insist upon throwing in Under the Sea with Little Mermaid and Peter Pan, but DS would happily skip those.

I don't have kids, but my youngest niece who was a little over a year and a half at the time would have a hissy fit if her parents tried to take her off the carousel. I swear they rode it like 20 times.

Dd (now 6, then 4) loved Philharmagic, the Barnstromer and Pooh. She loved most of Fantasyland, but those were her absolute favorites. She also really liked Carousel of Progress.

What a great post! Brought me back to when my now 11 and 13 year olds were "little."

At 2 and 4 - Pooh, Dumbo, Carpet, Triceratop Spin. Those are the ones that stand out, but I think swimming in the pool at WL and playing in the Boneyard at AK were their favorite activities that trip!

First time WDW family trip for myself, DH, DD6, and DD2.
What rides or shows do your little ones ask to reride at MK? Thanks!
This is a great thread! When kids are small (like your kids' ages) they really love to repeat rides. It's good that you recognize this! I think your six year old will have a different list of favorites than the 2 year old, though!

My older daughter was terrified of Philharmagic when she was two. My younger adored it when she was 2 and wanted to do it over and over. So I'm not much help.

Younger one also loved SDMT (she just turned three). We had a FP. She cried when she didn't understand why we couldn't ride it again. 80 minute wait. That's why we couldn't ride it again.

Another vote for the barnstormer, on a quiet night my 3 and 7 year olds went on it again and again and again. It was the only ride they asked to repeat, besides the family tube waterslide at BB

It's a Small World, Dumbo, Winnie the Pooh, Tiki Room; in our house these are the ones that are repeats; like a broken record:p

The darn carrousel. Which made me want to weep since there are carrousels everywhere.

We had the exact same experience with our boys when they were 2.5. In all of MK the carrousel made them super happy over and over and over again. They did really like Buzz, too.

By the time we took our first trip to Disney, DD was 14. DS was 4, and the number one big hit for him was the speedway, with Splash Mountain coming in a close second.

At 2 you can't go on the mountains, so keep that in mind. Unless you're abnormally tall.

My DS3 LOVES the magic carpets....especially getting spit on by the camel. He must fly at camel-level and then he laughs every time we get spit on.

He also loves Small world, speedway, Astro Orbiter, and Dumbo.

He also loves Jungle Cruise. We have to do that over and over. He loves the animals on that ride. We spend a lot of time walking between Jungle Cruise and the Magic Carpets. Over and over and over again.
