Hi -

My husband and I are coming for Food and Wine. We are both annual pass holders. I'm looking to see what resort would be the most affordable/cheapest to stay in for a few nights based on personal experience. Thanks!

The least expensive would be an All-Star resort.

You're way too late for points for F&W anyway.

I would keep checking for AP room discounts for BWI, YC, BC, but I doubt that will be "affordable or cheapest." Your best bet might be AAA rate at swan/dolphin if you want to be close, but remember add $50 for parking and resort fee. If you want mod, go with POR or POFQ for close bus ride and IMO best moderate.

You won't find any DVC villas available for F&W anyway, so it's good that you're not going to use your points!

Cheapest would be to stay offsite but then you would need to rely on Uber or Lyft if you plan to do any drinking. Since F&W coincides with *free* dining, it will be difficult to find any discounted value resort rooms at this point. I suggest looking at Orbitz or Hotels.com for a discount code that can be applied to Disney hotels and then checking their inventory for a room. Weekends are likely to be fully booked but you may be able to find mid-week stays.

All Stars and Pop Century are least expensive. I just booked All Star Movie last week so there are still rooms available during Wine and Dine. Have a fun trip.
