Mosquitos

No, there are not any problems with mosquitos at all in WDW. I think they treat the land. I'm usually a mosquito magnet, and when I'm in WDW, I never ever get a bite.

We were just there earlier this week and I'm not sure if they are mosquitos but there does appear to be some kind of biting flying insect in the evening. Now, we only encountered this two places, the Haunted Mansion Que and the docks at Wilderness Lodge. Obviously, both are near the water and that could have been the reason. Other than that, I am happy to report we were bug free! Have a great trip!

In the theme parks, you should have no trouble. When walking around other wooded areas or water, be careful. Mosquitos are still very active here right now.

it's odd but one yr when we were there the first wk in Dec there was an encephalitis out break and they canceled any evening outdoor stuff but i have never gotten a mosquito bite there ( even when we stayed at FW)so they must spray or something.
