Mosquitoes ??

They follow me around (an bite me) like I am the queen mosquito. People who I am around thank me for keeping the mosquitos away from them.

This is a job my DS and I share. 50 people outside and the two of us get bit.

Guess I'll be packing the Off.
When DS2 gets bit by a mosquito it turns into the size of an egg. The Dr. says he may just not like being bit, but there is nothing he can do besides take benedryl and use Off.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, I got 3 bites on my ankles. (I was wearing capris.)

Just back from a wonderful week - weather was very mild (highs from low 70s to mid 80s) - but we didn't see any mosquitoes this trip - the individually packaged repellant "wipe ons" are very easy to carry with you "just in case" you happen upon a buggy spot, so it's easy to be prepared.

aubriee - Thanks for the tip !! I'd never heard of the repellant coils - I'll look for them and try them out next summer - I can report that the Mosquito Magnets that my family ran in our yards this past summer killed a TON of mosquitoes !!

Okay, I can deal with the misquitoes but the post about SPIDER bites really freak me out!

I have been during all seasons and I have never been bit at WDW. 4 out of 5 KY mosquitoes prefer me to other living human beings. But FL mosquitoes never bother me.

As a native Californian, I was surprised to learn that Florida mosquitos will come out and feed (bite you and me) in the mornings! Don't wait until dusk to apply your repellant!

I'm at BWV right now. Have been here since Saturday. Only got 1 bite on my leg and that was without any repellant.
