Mosquito vs Mouse

I am, however, terrified I'll meet up with a snake at Disney, but that's a completely different topic...

Not to taunt you or anything, but I've seen snakes at Epcot on both of our last trips. Both were corn or rat snakes, iirc (and I'm IDing them correctly from one of the pics).

PLEASE DON'T MISINFORM. THIS IS NOT SPREAD HUMAN TO HUMAN. JUST 1 TYPE OF MISQUITO IS A CARRIER

Really? Did you think this would affect WDW crowds?

Now if EVERYONE would set their type that large, I wouldn't need to wear my glasses to read the DIS :lmao:

I saw one at Epcot 2 years ago. Luckily we were coming down the monorail ramp and saw it from a distance. A big black snake slithering across the walkway near bag check. Yuck!

My DH is a mosquito magnet and has never had an issue with them in the Disney bubble. We actually talked about this quite often and agreeded that it was just one more thing that makes WDW perfect lol. Seriously though I had this talk with a fellow DISfriend here and he mentioned that he had been told (not by a bus driver) that Disney uses dragonflies to keep the Mosquitos down. And all I am saying is that I have seen several dragonflies but never a mosquito in wdw. Makes sense to me. :goodvibes

Remind me again, how long is the standby wait for the Meet and Greet to see this Chikungunya character? If people are outraged with how Disney is handling the queue, then yeah, I can see a lot of people refusing to go to WDW ever again (or at least threatening to do so)!
