I came home from a My Chemical Romance concert
withh DD and friends.

The teenagers that were in the mosh pit looked like like they were having a blast. :yay:

If I was only 30 years younger.:sad2:

I love watching the mosh pits. My husband loves to join in and he just turned 30 today. They can get crazy in those pits.
We are taking my son to his first concert at the end of March. I told my husband NO MOSH PIT for him.

i'm always too afraid to get in them, i don't want to die. could you imagine?? Death by moshpit. how sad.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
my dh is a huge mosh fan. I have been to see Marilyn manson , acid bath and Primus among many others. I just stand back and watch the action. Its crazy!! I did have to go in the pit one time to get dh out because our child needed us at home.It was nuts and i just started throwing my elbows and knocked out a few folks :lmao:

Ya know ya just gotta do what ya gotta do ;)

i was at a Boyz II Men concert a few months ago (YES i said a few MONTHS ago! lol) and when they started singing "I'll Make Love To You" all of these middle-aged women started going crazy and rushed the stage. i had front row so i just sat in my seat while they all went nuts.

well, there was an older man that was standing RIGHT next to me and needless to say his....*Ahem* .........stuff......was RIGHT on my shoulder (and no i am NOT kidding, god i wish i was!) and i tapped him a few times on the leg to try and get his attention so he'd move and he ignroed me, so i tried to yell "excuse me!" a few more times and that still didn't do anything. so DH2B looks at me, shrugs, and doesn't know what to do. so what DO i do?? yeah, i elbow the guy, right in his *stuff*. needless to say, he finally moved!

i'm not really a B2M fan, either. DH2B loved them back in the day and i agreed to go. i was pretty scared. even scarier than when i went to Backstreet Boys concerts!

LOVE the Backstreet Boys. the only boyband i ever even bothered with!

i saw Billy Idol about 2 years ago. that man is still gorgeous!

I am dating myself here:

Last mosh pit was at a Public Image concert and I had a plaster cast on my arm. Let's just say those slam dancing into me were NOT too happy about it!

no there wasn't any mosh pit at the show i went to, either.

i LOVE that man!! ever since i was the age of 3 i would tell my mom "Mommy, I'm going to marry Billy Idol" .....course.....her reaction was always "no you are NOT!" :rotfl:

Most fun mosh fit for me was at Family Values a couple of years back

My mom and I are HUUUUGE Rick Springfield fans!!:woohoo: She's 40 and I'm 17. I've seen him once, she three times. He had her sing Don't Talk to Strangers (she and my brother20 were front row) and she was so flabbergasted that she couldn't do it and so he played it up with her big time. Rick ended up calling her a hot momma through the spiel. She glows whenever we talk about it!

All I can say is, you haven't seen a mosh pit, till you've been to a heavy metal concert!! People coming out with blood and bruises.. it's crazy but it's awesome!! It's all a way of showing a love for the music!

awww how cute for your mom!

hey, i've been to TOOL concerts, i've seen some pretty crazy mosh pits!

I am almost 39 now, 3 to 4 years ago my DH and I went to the Leeds Festival and to DH's horror I decided to join the mosh pit gang when SlipKnot were on stage, I had a blast - your only as old as you feel and that day I felt about 16!
My moto is 'you only live once enjoy yourself'
:rotfl: me :sad2: DH!

Brings me back to my High School years with the "punk" bands we seen.
7 Seconds, D.R.I., Cro-Mags, Circle Jerks, and on and on.... Loved those days!!!

I haven't been in a pit since I took a dive off the stage into one at a Sepultura concert in Denver in 1989 because Max Cavalera double-dared me to. :lmao:

Sickest pit I think I've ever seen was at a KoRn concert at Continental arena, there were three pits with about 800 people in each one! Saw one a few months back--Nonpoint at House of Blues Orlando--that was insane! The security guys wouldn't even go down there--there were probably 500 people in that pit, the entire floor was involved and more people were trying to push down the stairs to get into the pit, inadvertantly knocking people who didn't want anything to do with it into it in the process. Elias actually stopped the show for a minute to get the people off the floor.

I do love to watch them--and the crowd surfers--though!
