I was reading on Allears about a tour of Morocco. Could anyone tell me about it please? :wizard:

I've done it twice. Once when I was solo, then as a Mother's day gift for Mom. It's free, 1/2 hour, both times I went it was at 1:00 and 3:00. You were supposed to sign up the same day, but it's never full. When I took Mom on Mother's day, we were the only 2 on our tour! I found it very interesting, although I wouldn't have done it twice if it hadn't been for Mom. You really get to see nooks and cranies of the Moroccoan pavilion you might otherwise not see. I'd really recommend this tour for adults (I think kids would be bored), especially for the price! FREE!

Try the restaurant while you're there. My whole family liked the food and enjoyed the atmosphere.

That's cool! I didn't know they offered that. My Parents lived there while my Dad was in the Navy....years ago (that's where I was conceived! :) ) Would love to do this the next time my Parents make the trip with us! Thanks for the information!!!!

Simba's Mom, please tell us more. Where do we sign up for this? You need to sign up for it the day you want to do it? :flower:

But nobody had EVER mentioned it on the boards so I wasn't sure it was still being offered!

We might have to do this, even if it would bore DS. He should do some educational stuff since he will be missing school! ;)

It was still being offered this past Mother's Day. I think you sign up at the same place where the KidCot station is. My first time, I wasn't sure where to sign up, so I just went into the gift shop to ask about it and they directed me. Mom had been to Morocco, so the young man who gave us the tour was expecially nice and interested-they don't meet people who've been to Morocco very often so they really seem to like that! They take you into the resturaunt, show you the menu, I'm sure they'd like it if you went back and ate, but there's no pressure or anything. And like I said, it amazed me that I saw little nooks and cranies of that pavillion I might otherwise never have noticed. You sign up on the same day-the first time, I think I signed up about 1 1/2 hours before the tour, but the next time we didn't get there until about 20 minutes before the tour. What was neat was that at the end of the tour last time, our guide gave us a little, plastic "lucky hand", just like they give all the kids at the KidCot station. Mine is still hanging from my waist pack.

Wow, very interesting! Looking forward taking the tour. Thanks for all the great information! ::yes::
