If you could only choose one, which would you pick? I might try and buy tickets on Ebay for Morning Madness, but am debating if maybe the Character Dining would be a better experience and a better way to spend the money. What would you do?

In my opinion morning madness is not worth buying tickets on Ebay. You will get much better character interaction at a character breakfast. We went to TMM last week. They do a little show where the characters come out and then you can go wait in line to see the characters that were longer or as long as any other time during the day. Not worth it in my opinion. Go to the breakfast!

if I had to choose, I would take the Character Breakfast. Some of the prices on ebay are totally ridiculous.

NEVER would I pay for MM tickets and some of the people selling those on EBay are not the best folks to do business with (not all, but many) - I think you'll find most people will give you those for free if they haven't used them.

HANDS DOWN character meals!!!

I have done and enjoyed both. I believe if you are looking at actually making a purchase I would do the character breakfast. If you are able to get the TTMM for free then I would definitely do it. DS enjoyed it a lot getting to see the Fab Five together where you do not get that at the character breakfast.

We did MTTMM, and we had an extra fun time b/c DS got us chosen as some sort of honorary family (so we got to be on stage with the characters for a moment). But then it poured rain so there was no parade of any kind (other than the way the characters came into the stage area).

But even though we went and had fun and someday would do a package again to get those vouchers, I canNOT imagine paying specifically for those vouchers.

Then again, I didn't actually enjoy, all that much, our character b'fast at Lilo and Stitch, either. :confused3 For some reason it seemed the characters didn't want to spend much time with us, and I coudln't figure out why. I saw them spending long amounts of time with one table, then a quick drop in with us, then they would move on to a long stay at another table on the other side...very odd.

So I think maybe I can't really answer you. Might spend the money on a shirt, or more vegetarian gumbo. :upsidedow

Why anyone would buy tickets on eBay is beyond me. :sad2: First of all it is against the law to even sell any Disney tickets on eBay and most of the tickets there are too expensive and you may get really ripped off. I am not saying that ALL sellers of Disney tickets on eBay are frauds, but a good portion and many folks have lost a great deal of money by buying tickets there. Disney has a team of people just looking for tickets to their venues on auction sites and when they find them, they are removed. Of course they cannot find all of them, but they put a dent in the illegal sale of these tix. I would never purchase a ticket on eBay, too much of a chance to get burned.
Go with the character breakfast if you don't want to get your own tickets for Morning Madness, or have some from a good friend who did not use them! The character breakfast has a lot of character interaction, they come around to each table. Have fun!:wizard:

arielchickenofthesea, just b/c of one little way you said something ("if you don't want to get your own tickets for Morning Madness") I wanted to make SURE that you know that these vouchers are only available as part of a package through WDTC (or a company that uses WDTC). You can't just buy them, like you would a Halloween party ticket.

They do have expiration dates on them, though...
