Need opinions. I booked the flights for our 11/18 - 11/25 trip. We have a 6:30pm flight from MCO home, which means I'd want to leave the Poly by 3:30 THE LATEST.

We currently have 9:00am ADRs at 1900 Park Fare for our last day, and I'm debating about cancelling those in favor of being at rope drop and getting an additional 5+ hours in MK. Mostly ride a few of our favorites and take in all the Chrstmas decorations.

So, on your last day, do you make ADRs and have a "relaxing" time, ro do you try to get in as much park time as possible?

Our outbound flight for our upcoming Aug trip is about the same time. We are planning to be at MK when it opens- last min rides and shopping. I made an ADR for Lunch at LTT. After lunch we will work our way back to the WL to to prepare for ME pick up at 3:30.

Why don't you just leave the ADR and make the decison as you see how the vacation is going? If "overload" has set in then stick to the ADR and take it easy, tour the resorts etc. If you are still ready to be there are rope drop then cancel.

I agree. I don't know wht Disney does to people who make ADRs and never show up but this is your last one and it sounds like you have a plan with breakfast, it just might get changed. :goodvibes

I could do that. I would just hate to think that there is a family that REALLY wants to eat there on that day, and here I am with an ADR that I might not even use. I know I am 4 months away. I could hold onto it and when we get there make the decision.

There are always people who call the day they arrive, the day they want to eat, etc, so don't worry about that right now. I would hold on to the ADR, and see how your trip goes.

Oh, I should add, make sure you call reservations and tell them you aren't coming if you decide to cancel. That way, another family can eat there.

My flight home is at 3:30pm, which means DME will leave at 12:30pm for the airport. I have an ADR at the Crystal Palace for breakfast at 8am that day. This way I can have a big breakfast, be inside the park already when it "officially" opens, grab a few more rides on the Haunted Mansion, Pirates, etc., then head back to my resort, grab my last counter service meal to go and head for the airport. By taking the CS with me, means no $$ spent on food at the airport.

Right now I have an ADR for breakfast at Boatwrights on our last day. We took a vote (between the 3 of us) and they opted to sleep in and have a breakfast (OOP) at our resort before leaving at about 2pm. HOWEVER, if we feel that we need more time at the parks, we will cancel a couple of days ahead and hit a park at opening time. Heck, we can sleep at home!! :joker:
