My relative is very nice, and I also have met some very nice Mormons. I just don't understand some of their beliefs or teachings.

Melessa, I appreciate the time you took in responding. I know for sure we were all baptized by proxy and none of us had died.

I actually left a Baptist church after they announced that the Wed night services for that month would be on how LDS is a cult and how to convert local Mormons.

One of my closest friends at the time was Mormon. She was one of the most devout Christians I have ever known.

My "answer" to any who says the Book of Mormon is the "devils work" is to ask them to tell me who the flock was that Christ said he was going to go teach after he resurrected. Usually I get the answer he was going to heaven. When I question why would he be going to heaven to teach about God and heaven, I get an angry response.
