Location isn't an issue so that doesn't come into it... which one would you eat at? It's DP so cost isn't an issue either. I've eaten at Yak + Yeti and LOVED it but i like the look of Morimoto Asia. Menus appear quite similar from what I can see on one of the sites.

ADR day is 18 days away and I'm pretty much completely disorganised whoops!

I know you can get in to Yak & Yeti without a reservation, we do that often. We have a Landry's card which gets us priority seating which is great.
And worst case if the line for walk-ins is long, you can usually seat yourself at Y&Y's bar and eat there.

I really enjoy Yak & Yeti, especially their wok fried green beans. I also like their ahi tuna and their cream cheese wontons! I have yet to try the mango pie.

Morimoto Asia looks interesting, I love Japanese food, and I'd like to go, but haven't had a chance yet, I'm going next month. So unfortunately I can't say which I would pick between the two. (I kind of hate Disney Springs now, especially on weekends, but that's just me.)

I really don't think you could go wrong with either. But if you are really wanting to secure an ADR, I think Morimoto might require it more than Y&Y.

We've eaten at both and while the good was a little inconsistent at Morimoto, it's still better than Y&Y.

I would not make either reservation through Disney dining. As the PP suggested, get a Landry's Select Card for Y&Y and you'll get priority seating over people with ADRs. If you don't want the card, call the restaurant directly. For Morimoto, use opentable.com. There will be more availability and in both cases, you will not have to put a cc hold on either reservation.

Never done Y&Y (heard great things about it), but we did lunch at Morimoto on our last trip and it was amazing.

If you haven't tried Morimoto's you should. We were there opening weekend and have returned a couple of times since -- food is good, well served, and the downstairs bar and upstairs sushi bar are both worth experiencing as well.

I already have a Landrys and it never occurred to me to use it in Yak + Yeti.

I'm thinking Morimoto it is then, at least it's a new one to tick off the list :)

Thank you
