So just booked for free dining in August! We went in January 2008 and weren't planning on going till 2010 but it looks like I will be needing a kidney transplant next year so 2009 it is!

Anyway, DS and DD will be 4 and 6 and I think they would love the water parks. Was just looking at the pricing and from what I gather the 1 day admission to a water park is $40 for adults and $34 for kids OR I can add the option to our 7 day tix for $50. OK, so here are the questions:

1) Can only 3 of us add the water park and more option? My wife will not be going to the water parks as she hates them and wants to stay with our then 9 month old son.

2) I'm sure the answer is no but can only one person add the $50 water park option and then use 3 of the 7 admissions from that ticket for different people? I would be REALLY REALLY surprised if this possible but just thought I would make sure! :goodvibes

3) Can you do a regular park and water park on the same day without having the "hopper" option? In other words can we do MK in the morning and then head to a water park for the afternoon?

4) Probably won't end up doing this but can you downgrade tickets? Can I change my 7 day Magic Your Way Base for a 5 day MYW with water park option?

Thanks in advance to all the experts here!

1) yes, it is per-ticket
2) no, tickets are non-transferrable (I can't think of a way around this one)
3) yes, done that, saved the cost of the hopper option (recommended)
4) I don't know, unlikely IMHO... unless you can just return a 100% unused ticket for credit applied to a new ticket. Hopefully another expert will come along here.

My family loves the water parks as much as regular parks, we don't have any here (Nova Scotia, at least the same quality). So we could definitely spend a day at a water park and save the cost of the regular park. Last time I think we did 10 days, 4 WP visits and 7 at a regular park days (one day we did MK morn and TL aft).

I'm not sure if you leave a WP and re-enter the same WP the same day (without entering any other park) if that counts as 2 visits... I got conflicting answers. I suspect it does, but it might not. Say you had to go back and get something you forgot in the car, would that be fair to debit an entire 'visit' worth? I'd hope not. I never had to do this though, so I'm not sure.

An unused ticket may be traded in towards another kind of ticket including in a downgrading manner. The trade in value will be roughly what you paid for the ticket. Generally no change is returned.

You may exit and re-enter the same minor park that day without consuming another visit. (If another visit was taken, then that constitutes an overcharge for which you are entited to a correction.)

No - as you have booked a PACKAGE (free dining) - everyone on the package has to have the exact same components.

No, sorry.

Yes, you can!

Yes you can, but I recommend you do it before your final payment due date as if there is a price variance, you could save yourself money.

I thought the rule was that everyone had to purchase the same package initially, but then could upgrade at WDW as you like. We did this for our youngest son, as he was 3, and it was the first time he needed to pay for entrance at WDW, the rest of us had water park options from previous years to use, so we just upgraded his base ticket to include the water option, but the rest of us only had base tickets (from that trip anyway), so we did not end up having the same tickets, and this was for free dining. I think if you wait to add on the water park option when you're there, you should be able to add it without adding it to your wife;s ticket and wasting the $...can anyone confirm this?

You can add the Waterpark option on later at the resort. If you are only going to the Waterparks once and not doing DQ it would be cheaper to just pay the admission OOP.

Not true.
Upgrade the tickets after you have checked in...you can seperately upgrade the tickets that you want to.
