More Tupperware questions

What is the best way to maximize the MyPoints awards for purchasing Tupperware but still pay as little as possible? There are a few things I could use but I don't want to buy a lot of extra stuff just for the points. And I don't want to pay a lot in shipping for multiple orders. Can you use more than one GC at a time? If so, would it be better to buy several $10 eGC and then have one big order to cut down on shipping? Is there a better way? Thanks for your help!
 
Basically, it depends on what you're looking to purchase. If you have your eyes on a higher priced item, order just enough $10 eGiftcertificates to cover it. Order each GC separately under a different Tupperware banner and get 800 points for each one. Finally order the item that you want using yet another MyPoints/Tupperware banner to link to it for another 800 points.

You can combine GCs by entering each one individually. When you get to the checkout, click the "Yes, I have a Gift Certificate" button. Enter the necessary info and when the checkout page comes back up, click the "Yes, I have a Gift Certificate" button again to enter your next GC code. Repeat as is necessary in order to pay for your item.
 
Could someone tell me what kind of confirmation that you get when you purchase an e-certificate?

I THOUGHT that I had bought one yesterday afternoon. I THOUGHT that I remembered entering all of my information. I DO remember getting the blue box that said that I was awarded 800 points. But I have not received any confirmation that I purchased the $10 e-certificate. :(

You get an email from egift@Tupperware.com. When you open it there is a yellow box that tells the amount of the ecert, the serial number, and the acceptance code of the ecert.

You get an email from Tupperware with the codes you need to redeem them. They also give you a expiration date.

Now, does this e-mail come immediately after your purchase, or is there some lag time? Should I be looking in my Spam folder? :)

I looked at MyPoints this AM, and I DID receive the points for my purchase! Whoo Hoo! Now I will order another Web Certificate. :)
 
My ecert came within 5 minutes of purchasing it. If you got the 800 pts, most likely they sent the email. I don't know what you email service is, but every once and a while the mypoints emails go to my junk mail bucket. Most go to my regular inbox, so go figure how these email sites decide.

I have had it happen where an ecert from Tupperware was being blocked by my IP (AOL). I got a great customer service rep on the phone who tried to resend it with no success. We ended up sending it to another email addy I had with a different provider. If it's not in your junk mail box, call Tupperware. They should be able to track it down.

PS-I always copy and email myself the confirmation page from all internet transactions. They usually provide a confirmation number and other vital info that is priceless when trying to resolve any problems.

I had the same problem with Go.com email. I had not received any emails from MyPoints for a long time and someone suggested changing email addys. Within hours I had a Bonus Mail from MyPoints! My Go account didnt have a "junk folder" so I guess they somehow didnt accept MyPoint emails but did accept all the nasty email spam stuff. :confused:

Speaking of emails.....I just received the Tupperware Email so thats another 800 points!! :Pinkbounc So watch those emails and junk mail boxes!!!
 
I got the points but I did not recieve the email... what should I do? How will I get the gc code?

If I got a Tupperware email and would like to place another order thru the MyPoints site, can I do both and get 800 points for each or not? I can't remember if I have done this before--I think I ordered twice off their website in 1 month since it was 2 different banners.

Anyone have a clue if I will get the points twice for 2 seperate orders-1 from the email and 1 from the site?

welovedis - yes you can do both. Just as though it's a different banner, you can do them all. And do the emails as well.

lovdancink - I would email tupperware and let them know. They will resend the email with the code and everything. They've done that for me before.

Go get those points!!

Glad that I am not the only one. I checked my credit card account today and the charge has not shown up yet (of course NOTHING has since Monday.) So I will contact Tupperware once my CC is charged.

I looked in my Spam folder at the e-mail account that I use for MyPoints and there was nothing from Tupperware there (but TONS of stuff wanting to sell me Vicodin, ***** enlargements, and porn. :rolleyes: )

I will let you know what happens. :)
 
I have written to the e-mail addie listed above. I have not received my e-certificate (and it is not in my Spam folder) and my CC was charged.

I will keep you all up to date. :)
 
I ordered 4 e-certifications yesterday on different banners. At the end of each order I clicked to receive the 800 mypoints. I received confirmation on the certificates from Tupperware but I have received anything points yet. How long does it take?
 
Some times it takes a day or two. I'm sure you'll have em in a couple days, assuming you got the blue popup.
 
I think the Point creditor took an early weekend. I received my other 800 points the day after ordering but last night did the email one and still do not have the points. I'm sure they'll be there on Monday though.
