not too sure about the bathrooms though.

Somebody needs to come up with an intelligent and less expensive solution to the shower set-up. Otherwise I can see our dues going up in the future.....

Looks great!

Have they announced how transportation is going to work for the Treehouses yet?

Hoping for golf carts!! :yay:

The huge windows are amazing. I'd love to have that view over the Sassagoula River. :lovestruc

I like it!!!

The bathroom's are nice and Im glad they separated the tub and shower even if they had to do it that way. I prefer that over the way they combined them at AKV Jambo.

WOW!!!! I think the interior shots are amazing. Great colors -- especially the common areas and the master BR. Not sure I like the bathrooms, but that's not why I'm going on vacation. We will be there Thanksgiving week and I think it the perfect location for our family's holiday!!

WOW!!!! Absolutely gorgeous! That bedroom shot outside is killer....We are definitely going to have to stay here!!

Thanks for sharing!

:hippie:

We like it but not crazy bout them:confused3
Didn't care for the paneling.....will have to stop by and see it 1st hand get a feel for it...Thanks for posting the links, Shawnpirate:

Am I the only one that thinks that light fixture in the tub/shower is dangerous, is water from the shower not going to get into that?

I have never seen a hanging fixture on the back wall of a tub/shower.:confused3 or is that a reflection of the lights over the vanity?

I don't think it's on the shower wall - it looks like a reflection or double image of the lighting fixture over the sink.

I agree, it appears to be a reflection on the glass separating the vanity and the shower/tub area. If you look closely you see the shower head in front of the tub and a door handle to left of but in front of the shower head by the little partial wall, and a shower drain on the floor. It's all a bit deceptive since the photographer didn't capture or cropped out the shower head at the top of the shot and only left the hand-held moveable shower head that hangs on the wall. You walk through the shower to get to the tub in these units. Strange set up, if you ask me.

Thanks Tara and Stopher, I was thinking that just can't be right a light fixture in the shower like that. It is a very strange setup I agree.

Bus issues and such have me more concerned though. I just can not imagine putting that many extra people into the already over loaded SSR bus routes. Busing an extra 400-500 people over to SSR to wait at the bus stops there; is definitely going to be felt.

Then throw in those riding SSR buses to get to DD or DD area hotels. :sad2:

Although the setup is a bit strange, I really think that they are a unique addition (or, reincarnation) to the offerings, and I can't wait to try one!

I stayed at the Treehouse Villas in August of 2000, when they were part of the Disney Institute. The Treehouse Villas were sold out the week I was there and there was NEVER a crowd at the pool. In fact, most times, we had the pool to ourselves.

do you think the pool is going to be large to cope enough with the number of Treehouses
