More than 10 day stay

I am in the process of planning my trip in Oct 2007. Depending on some circumstances, I may go from a 8 night stay to a 11 night stay. When I try to look this up on the website, says the package deal is for max stay of 10 days. Yes I could cut short one day...but I don't wanna! (best impression of a 5yr old ).

Anyways I do plan on calling with this instead of my normal booking online. Would I still be able to get a package deal if I call and explain the one extra night? Also may be using AAA, since I have a friend who is one of their travel agents. I will only need a 10 day park hopper, so that shouldn't be a problem.

I guess I am asking those of you who go for more than 10 night stay, what do you do?

You can ask. I actually think Disney can "morph" any package into any such and such a fashion if they really tried in behalf of your travel agent.

If this fails, book the first or last night as room-only.

You won't be able to dine free on the first evening or the last morning respectively but you may find this not to be a problem.

Doing the last night room only is usually preferable because you can then get your package 10 day expiring park ticket immediately upon arrival. (Non-expiration is not recommended for a ticket to be completely consumed in one sitting)

If you are arriving really late or have to start off for home really early you could book the extra night at an airport hotel and the original problem vanishes. You can still use Magical Express.

Thanks. When I plan, I don't count my departure date as a Disney Day, that is why the 10 day park hopper would be exactly what I need, but only need a room that last night, well ok..campsite .

You can't book more than 10 nights in one reservation.
