Do you think there will be more?

I would love to see the All-Stars get a Skyliner to DAK!

They were saying on one of the major podcasts (can’t remember which) that the plan is to do more, yes, and they specifically called out DAK and AKL.

So you want $200/night in low season and $300/night in high season in a standard room at All Stars?

If you enjoy All Stars and lower prices you don't want Skyliner personally.

I think the prices are already heading in that direction, anyway. Supposedly Skyliner will be more cost effective and efficient than the buses so I wouldn’t be surprised to see them at more resorts in the future.

I would expect to see Skyliner at AKL before any AllStars resorts. AKL is the only deluxe resort that relies completely on buses for transportation. An alternate form of transportation would be a welcome addition.

But let’s see how it works out at the other resorts first.

And AKL is much closer to DAK than the All-Stars so less expensive and quicker install..

That remains to be seen. I'm skeptical, esp. because the Skyliner will be down so often due to bad weather during the summer. Busses will still run in the rain and lightning; the Skyliners will stop every time there's lightning within a few miles, which is just about every day from mid-June till I think the end of September. And if you're waiting for the Skyliner and it's shut down, you'll have to go all the way to the front of the resort to catch the bus - which at POP is a very long walk.

The Skyliner took POP right out of the Value category; if it every shows up at All Stars, Disney will then have NO Value resorts left. That will be a shame as it will mean many families will have to give up the idea of going at all.

That would be cool-if staying at POP Guests could hop on the Skyliner and head on over to Boma! :)

Well, you kind of will be able to. 10 minute Skyliner from Pop to CBR to DHS, then 15 minute bus ride from DHS to AKL! ;)

Except with a bus its easier now really. Bus to AK then another bus to AKL.

Skyliner it would be to CBR exchange, then to HS exchange, then to AK (or possibly even Blizzard Beach or Coronado along the way), then finally to AKV. They would need to work out a system in which your actual gondola goes straight to the final destination without needing to keep getting out and back in.

But the Post was about connecting AKL to the CBR Hub in addition to DAK. :)

I would hope that they would connect to the CBR hub for Skyway access to HS and Epcot, too.

From a purely selfish POV, I'm a little nervous about the increased prices and cutbacks in buses. Two members of my family don't handle heights well, so we won't be riding the Skyliner no matter how convenient. The Family Suites at the Values are already on the cusp of being too expensive. If prices go up and bus transportation starts to become infrequent or inconvenient, it's not going to bode well for future trips for us.
