Ok, the title company finally received the docs from the sellers. I got an e-mail it should close sometime next week.

Will they notify when it closes?
How long after till I can access points?
How will I know how to access the points?

Sorry if they're silly questions...TIA

TSS (*** closing company) did notify me via e-mail when my contract closed (we were seller) along with the selling agent, so I got 2 notifications. We closed on a Friday and I had the check on Monday! The points sat in my account for another 12 days which means the buyer did not get the point for about 2 weeks after closing. I know others have said within 7 - 10 days. Good luck we are in the exact same boat, got word on Monday closing company got all documents just waiting to close.

I got an email from the closing company that read something like "Congratulations, your file has been closed and sent to Disney. Please allow 5-10 days for Disney to enter you into their system".

I received the email on 4/13. I started calling Disney 5 days later exactly, on the 18th....but was not in the system until the 22nd.

After you've patiently waited your 5-7 days, don't hesitate to ask to speak to somebody that handles the resales for MS. I did, and got a wonderful lady who tracked down our file, called me twice personally and let me know where we stood.

Good luck....the end is in sight.

Because of the amount of sales during February and March, it seems that it is taking DVC 10 - 14 days to get new members information into their system after the day of closing. Be patient and the points will be there.

To answer one of your questions, I am not sure where you purchased your points, but with The Timeshare Store, Inc.®, we send an email at the time of closing with information on contacting DVC to make your first reservation.

Enjoy your membership.
