Mmmmm. Those are beautiful and I'm positive they smell heavenly. I love David Austin roses. I have a couple. I'm diligently taking pictures of all my roses as they bloom for a new rose information thread.

Perfection!!! :)

Beautiful, Deb! :) Your pics are so nice, they should be in a gardening book!! ::yes::

:flower3:

Thanks Buds,
Wish I could send along the scent too.

Hope you all are able to see the rest on Image Sation. I've uploaded many more rose pics. As new ones come into bloom I delete the older pics. Now if the DIS gallery would get back up I could post many more here.
Kim, thank you. I don't know if these are worthy of a book but DS spoke to a gallery that wants to show my pics. We'll see.

Marydmjj, English roses are my favs now. I have quite a few of every other kind but they are not as stunning when in full bloom. Harkness has some beautiful ones if you like David Austin.

I've developed files on each bush. Every few days I take new pics of blooms. Last year I just posted pics but this year I'm including info on each one.
Info on the boards has helped me when I've gone to the garden center to look at roses. I learned that Knockout is an easy climber that requires only 2 hours of sun each day. I was able to find it this spring. So far it's doing very well. Never would've known it if I hadn't read it it on a board.

That's excellent Deb! :D You should be very proud, they're great pictures!! :)

I've now joined up three times (kept forgetting my username and password..lol), but this moring I was able to link right in and view the rest of your rose pics. They're fabulous! I like the Princess of Wales little helper. ;) :)

I missed these photos first time around. I repeat: You are a wonderful gardener and photographer. I've seen some pixs in garden books that can't touch yours in clarity and beauty!

I have been looking at all of your rose photo. Your roses are just beautiful. I know they are a lot of work but the rewards are great. Thank you for sharing them

Fabulous! Simply fabulous!

Deb....how many rose bushes do you have...and how many varieties???

Thanks Buds, I enjoy watching them grow and am amazed at the blooming process. They do all the work for my pics. The hardest part for me is catching them in the right light and picking a time when it's not windy. It's always windy here. I'm out there just about everyday when they're in bloom pickin and poken and taken shots.

Gina, I think I have 31 bushes. Just got around to adding them up so it's a rough count. I don't know how many varieties. It's a case of read about it in a magazine, like it and try to find it.
