Hello!
I am hoping someone can help me with these questions.

Which villas have one bedrooms with marsh view? I know the Live Oak Lodge does but I would prefer another villa but I would love the marsh view which I have requested. I am hoping to have the building nos. so I can call closer to my trip to say building no.

Can you bring your own charcoal grill or are they enough around the grounds for everyone?

We are going October 1st, do you think they will do something special since this is the 40th anniversary of MK? I know its a long shot but just curious.

Lastly, do they have the resort collection shampoo, conditioner, and body wash at the gift shop for sale??

Thanks for all the help in advance!!

I think there are usually enough BBQ grills.

Is WDW doing anything special for it's 40th? Celebrations usually have some spillover.

I think Bldg 18 has a marsh view. The Bldgs with grand villas have the 1 bedroom underneath. There may be one other with a marsh view - maybe 24. I wouldn't count on it....setting yourself up for disappointment if they are already occupied.

Yes - the resort usually has the shampoo etc for sale in the Mercantile.

Here's a couple pictures of the views from the 1 BR in building 18, #1812. The only problem can be that you're on the first floor there, so if the neighbors above you are early risers or night owls, it can be a pain.

It was probably our favorite view. However, we usually request a 1 BR in the main lodge because we love the convenience of Big Murgie's Den and parking's easier there. Also, I think part of it is habit-there used to be a time when one of the only free wireless spots was Big Murgie's Den, so every evening my laptop and I would make a little visit there to join all the other laptops for some time on the computer.

You might want to give a call to resort to see if using your own charcoal grill is permitted; jmho there seems to be enough grills available.

:)

Besides the Live Oak Lodge, there is only one 1BR with a marsh view and that is in building 18 (there are only 5 1BRs besides those in the Lodge).

Here is a coded HH map:

Thank you everyone for their answers!! I thought there were grills available but not sure since we have never used them! Thank you for the pictures from Bldg. 18 which was nice along with the map! If we don't get the marsh view no big deal! I just can not wait to get back to HHI!! We love that place!

We'll see you there. Dh and I will be there in a 1bd from Sept 1-Oct 5. I can't wait. 2 months to go. Hope you have a great trip.
