I am interested to know how this works also. Did one person purchase the fridge, and the rest of us would reimburse them? How much?

I am a little lost too - we are there from11/25 to 12/6, but I am not sure exactly what the fridge swap is? I would be interested in what ever days are available.

I just got in on this so I hope I'm explaining it right. It's like a fridge timeshare...without the annoying 90 minute spiel.

The first person on the list is generally the purchaser of the fridge and the rest of us split the cost of the fridge and send the $ to them via paypal, check, whatever. I saw one thread where the group had gotten the cost down to $7 a piece! I would say we're on track for at least that amount or less.

For those times when the fridge isn't being passed off directly between one user and the next, the fridge can sit in a box at POP, with the name and ressie # of the next person in line.

POP doesn't officially sanction this, so it's best to cut the time down between gaps in use as much as possible.

This is cool! Never heard of it before. We are at POP 10/12 - 10/15. It looks like it's not avail. til 10/13? What do I need to do? If I join, what/when/where do I get it?

ok, it looks like we got till the 26th of October now covered, right? I still am not on the list, but have made all the contacts and now I'm just waiting to hear.

tiki23 pretty much has it down.

I am the original purchaser of the fridge and it is being delivered as we speak.

After we figure out how many people are on board we would divide that number by the total cost of the fridge. The amount would be the same for each family rather than by number of nights. I won't know the exact amount until we know exactly how many people are on board, but at this point, it looks like it will be less than $10 a family for their entire stay, as opposed to $10 a night that POP charges. (I am assuming that people don't bail, of course!)

Each person would be responsible for coordinating with whoever is before them and after them as far as handing the fridge off - whether it be in person or leaving it at the front desk with the next person's reservation info.

As far as payment goes, we'll need to discuss the details in private (i.e., PM's or email) due to DisBoard rules I am told.

Stitch's O'hana - I'm not sure your dates will work with this particular swap - but we can wait and see...

Exevale - I will add you to the list!!

Willowtrees - I can put you down from 11/25 - 12/1 but you will probably need to give it up on Dec. 1st if that's okay...let me know if you're willing to do that!
