Here are some pics from my 2004 autograph album, it is a CM 7x7 album, that i "embellished" - I am sure the CM people would keel if they saw what i did to their albums!!LOL

I am trying to get ideas to make my own autograph book for my next trip. Seeing all these posts with pics, makes me want to do something with my old ones too! I have a couple questions for all you experts. Everyone keeps mentioning CM books. What stores can you find them in? I would like to get books that will last forever-ish, so would like to look into them. The only crafty store in my area is Hobby Lobby and a local scrapbook shop. Would they carry them? I have checked the website and prefer to buy in a local shop over online shopping.

Also about the book above, it looks very nice. I wanted to ask what you used on the cover to embellish it. Are the letters written or stickers or what did you use?

I do scrap, so I'm not a newbie, but I'm no expert and look forward to getting more ideas for books!

CM means Creative Memories. You order items through a local representive or one you know (I met mine through an Ebay auction). You can also have a party (like Pampered Chef or that Candle one) or most reps will let you place an order that they then add to another party they had. They have albums, paper, stickers and other supplies.

I love the back of the album: so cute! The whole album looks great and my daughter and I loved looking at it. Her favorite is the "Mickey treasure box." Now she wants one!

The tag book with the castle pictures is a great idea also.

The album is great. The altered look doesn't bother me. We do have imprinting on the albums so why not do it yourself is you are comfortable with it. I have a few of the CM 7x7 Mickey albums and I plan on using one as an autograph album on our October trip. I keep hearing about people doing this and I just love the idea.

The Mickey box and castle mini book are so cute too. Great job and thanks for sharing!!

Love the autograph book! Looks like you got the signatures right on the pages--how did you carry them around the park? What kind of pen/marker did you use to get the signatures?

I really like the ribbon and tag you added to the spine--I'm going to copy that!

Thanks everyone! To answer a question: I carried the whole book around in my backpack.. So, yes, the characters did sign right on the pages. I also carried a black sharpie marker. This is the second yr i used a cm album, so i am getting use to it, and have developed a system LOL, i am alot faster "on the draw " when we see characters now! LOL

Very cute. I like how your CM album turned out. I don't know that I would have altered a CM....But hey why not.....it turned out awesome.

Are those rub-ons that you used on it?


Another question....I see quite a few of you have DIS CJ things in your sig area....who can tell me more about them? From what it looks like it's starting 9/06??? Is it full? Or who would I direct my "?" to in order to find out??? As you can see I'm in two DIS DCL CJ's currently...but we're at the tail end of it....so they'll be over soon. Anyways I'd love to get more info on it...and if there are any open spots.
