Since a few of you seemed so glad to have me post again after my long absence (I'm flattered that you remember me), I thought I'd post another bit of information that I recently got wind of. (don't expect alot more of these, though ;] )

The Entertainment dept may be adding more variety to the character lineup in all four parks, eliminating as many repeats as possible and bringing out lots of characters who haven't been seen in the parks in years.

I was glad to hear this, as one of my only concerns regarding entertainment was that you could visit all four parks over the course of a week and see the same 2-dozen characters everywhere you went.
The Fab-5 will still be in multiple locations, but with location-specific costumes for the most part.

I don't have any more specific information, but that's the current word on the street.

That would be great! I would love to see certain MIA characters. Thanks Steve.

I remember when they said the same thing for the 100 yrs celebration. They actually had a more varied slate for a while too. Then it was back to same old same old.

Thanks for the info Steve, and glad to hear from you!!

Wow, lots of people who haven't posted in a while showing up here. Hey!

Fresh is good.

So is seeing old friends! (Both in cyberspace and WDW)
Add my welcome back to the others, Safari Steve! You were very kind to me just before the first FTpkg, and I'll be a fan for life!

Wonder why ? It doesn't cost hem any more to have a fresh charactor out there instead of a regular. Is it possible gests were actually looking for the good ol favorites ?

Great info! Thanks Steve!

Thanks, Steve.

It is a fine line Disney has to walk here, but one in which I hope they lean to the side of more varied characters. Wouldn't we all agree that it makes sense to have characters tied to the area they appear, but with lots of variety to please the autograph hounds and fans of everyone beyond the Fab Five?

It would be a good move in my book... hope it happens and sticks this time.

If I could just get my picture taken with the Seven Dwarfs, I'd be a happy happy woman!

It would be great to see more of the others (than the Fab 5)!

SafariSteve, nice to hear from you again.
