So our Universal tickets arrived yesterday :cool1: Small, credit card sized, but heavy paper. We're stayin on-site so I know we can get our express pass in the hotel once we've checked in.

Are these length of stay or do we need to do it each morning?
When we get to the park gates do we need to scan fingers as in WDW?
Once inside, do we only need the express pass for the rides or do we need to show the park tickets also? (In other words can I takes the kids tickets to store them safely, without having to rummage around for each ride)
With Hogwarts we will have to show tickets so they can verify they're park to park?

Sorry if these are all a bit obvious

Express passes are made at the kiosk when you check in.They are also paper and are length of stay.
Yes you need to do a finger scan like Wdw
You need to show your express pass for EACH ride and they are scanned ( you do not need park tickets for that)
Yes you need to show your park to park ticket to board the Hogwarts express

A few years ago we bought HP lanyards they have clear plastic pouches that seal closed. We face the EP outward a one side and park ticket facing out the other. They was we know they are together.

You could always take a close up of the numbers on the park ticket if you are worried about losing them. I know WDW can pull them up by it maybe Universal can too???

Good idea with the laynards, hadn't though of putting both ticket and express pass in them. Already have the photo's of the cards done :thumbsup2

We also use lanyards..With the express pass scan bar facing thru the plastic and park tickets behind..Often they can scan the express pass thru the plastic

Ditto. We did this a few weeks ago and never had to take our express pass or park tickets out of the lanyard.
