More legroom airlines to Hawaii?

I have only flown once in the past decade or so, and that was on Jetblue with more legroom seats for a little bit more money per seat. I know they do not go to Hawaii. Can someone recommend an aircarrier that has more legroom seats? Firstclass seats are way out of our budget.

Three of the big legacy carriers have rows of economy seats in the front part of the economy cabin with extra legroom. United calls is Economy Plus. American calls it Main Cabin Extra. Delta calls it Economy Comfort.

There is an extra charge for the superior legroom unless you have elite frequent flyer status (and, even then, it depends on the airline and on your status).

I've also been successful asking nicely at the gate on United, even without status.

US Airways doesn't have it (yet). US Airways has ChoiceSeats, bit these don;t have better legroom, just more desirable locations within the cabin. US Airways is expected to mimic American's Main Cabin Extra as the US Airways brand goes away.

We travel to Hawaii fairly frequently (used to live there, and have taken our kids back, as son was born there, 6 times now with a 7th trip coming up this summer).

We have flown so far American and Delta (whenever we have the miles!). Last trip, we did the Delta Economy Comfort on the way there (first class home) and we were all pleasantly surprised at the comfort of those seats. They gave more legroom and were very comfortable! I would say it is totally worth the extra money for such a long trip! We were using miles so our tickets were free, but I think each leg of the trip was less than $150 extra maybe (I totally forget now).

I would guess the other airlines that have this have similar seats - definitely for such a long trip grab those if you can.

Very, very unlikely these days that UA is going to put a non-elite flyer or one who doesn't pay into Economy +. I have been on many UA flights where regular economy is completely packed while there are a number of empty seats in E+. There are just too many UA elites now after the merge with Continental. Plus, I wouldn't want to chance getting a middle seat or be separated from a travel companion during a last minute seat assignment.

It's better to pay for the seat during booking.
