I also use a laptop for DD to play DVDs on trips. I am wondering if any of you laptop owners who do the same have discovered some little secret or trick for cutting the glare from the sun and brightening the picture on the screen when traveling in the car.

I have "played" with the brightness control on the computer itself, but this doesn't help much. The airplane is not a problem since, with the shades down, it is just like the light at home. However, the picture inside the car is not so good during the day. We have a small car with tinted windows, but DD complains (especially when the sun is coming through the back glass) that she cannot see too well. Any tips/suggestions?

Thank you!
