More Info on Free Dining!

Wonder why CM Said check at 6:00 AM....Takes 1 minute to check disney website..Doesn't Disney reservations open at 7:00 AM?????

She said to check their site at 6am because she said that the free dining sells out fast and you'll went to be on the phone at 7am.

I believe she meant that promos are available to be viewed at 6 a.m., so that is what she is encouraging her to do, and if she sees free dining offered to call at 7 a.m. because that's when Disney reservations open up.

Yes, there are only a certain number of rooms or pkgs available for the promotion. Now, that number will sometime shift after the first initial offerings as people switch there resort choice.
So, there will be pkg. available for Disney Visa people then more will be released for general public. I also believe some of those will open up again once some of the deposits (esp. for general public) fall through.

The called me back and gave me my ressies. I wasn't really expecting the return call. She got me in to ASMusice which was my dd's choice. I told her if she needed to she could switch to another value. We've never stayed at a value.
She said to check their site at 6am because she said that the free dining sells out fast and you'll went to be on the phone at 7am. The other choice she said was to call every day at 7am. She seemed to think that free dining would be available for all resorts but that there would be alot less rooms at the value and mod. She also thought that people with ressies and dining already booked would be better off. She was one of the nicest cm's iI've talked to. She lives in Orlando and her and her children spend a good deal of time in the parks and stay in resorts annually. They also make a point of visitng as many restaurants as they can. California Grill is her fave. She was one of those cm's who is a wealth of info from personal experience.

Glad they called you back and were able to get what you wanted. I'm keeping my fingers crossed in hopes that the UG website is correct and they will release the discount on Monday!

I remember last year that after a couple of weeks more rooms opened up. Some resorts that didn't even have availability from the first day, also opened up later.

yes what she meant is that they update the website with specials early am. If you check and see that it is announced at 6am you will be ready to call CS at 7am. She told me they are very busy the day free dining is announced and alot of that is due to folks who already have ressies switching to free dining. No, that doesn't mean you can get it if it is full. It only means that alot of the people grabbing the deal already have a ressie. She said that when you call to book free dining they have to add all your info and then enter you in to the system. But people who they only have to enter their ressie number can get in faster because they don't go through all the other stuff first. She sounded sincere but maybe she just really wanted the credit of booking my vaca.

Question when she said check at 6 am did she mean tomorrow or evryday till the promotion comes out.

we are booked at pop too for aug. 29th!!! i will be calling at 7am! pop is our favorite value! we requested the 50s bldg. but i will not be picky if we get the free dining. i will be glad just to be there!

would Disney post a Disney Visa promo on the general disney specials or would it be via the chase rewards Disney site. I'll be on vaction but wil still be getting up early in hopes of free Tonga toast and other goodies

We have bounceback free dining but watching carefully for SIL whose family will be there for a few of the same days as we will be. She has a Disney VISA and I was wondering, is there a special number she should call or just the regular Disney reservation line and she will just have to use her Disney Visa to make her deposit??? Thank you for any info.

Call the regular Disney reservation number. The deposit must be made with a Disney Visa.
