I have searched and can't find the answers to a couple of questions about ages for the GAD promotion.

When you volunteer how do they know how old the child is? My DD turns 10 next month, but the volunteer opportunities are in February for what we want to do (and the cutoff age is 10). We could wait and hope another chance comes up, but she will be starting soccer in March and it will get busy.

Also I know the ticket is non-transferable, but how do they really keep track with kids? They don't have formal ID so how do they know if that's who is volunteering or redeeming the ticket? Do I have to haul a birth certificate with me or something?

Thanks.

For Disney the age limit is 6. If the organization has an age limit of 10, your question regarding ID/birth certificate is really directed towards them and without knowing the organization (and having 1st-hand knowledge of it), no one here can really answer that question.

As for tracking the ticket, I don't know the official answer, but I know with the "Free on Your Birthday," yes, you had to "haul a birth certificate around."

I found the answer to one of my questions when I signed up to volunteer. The terms or whatever that you have to check that you have read and agree to say that you need to have a birth certificate to redeem the ticket. I don't know about when you volunteer.

I wish that the organizations needing volunteers provided more information. Also there are so few opportunities on Saturdays and they fill up immediately. Oh well. I am finding out that there are some cool places to volunteer around here that I never knew about.
