Okay, we are planning a 2 week trip in sept and not planning to go back until dec 05 so annual passes don't make alot of sense for us. I've read everything I can about the FITS passes. I feel comfortable about buying these however some of my family needs a little more reassurance. Can someone who's used these fill me in on the procedure. I think I understand it's a voucher and I have to turn it in at guest services for the ticket...Can you tell me exactly what the procedure is. What has been your experience w/paramount, are there other ticket agencies (trustworthy) that offer this pass?, were you questioned at all or did you experience any difficulty in activating this pass. How did the breakfast vouchers work? ..I just need some reassurance for the family that will be traveling with me. They don't read the boards so that aren't as familiar with everything that's been said about them already...

Sorry if this has been asked over and over. I really want everyone to have the same passes and think this is the best option just need some ammunition to convince everyone of this!

Thanks in advance for your kind replies.....

I understand about your family's hesitation with buying the passes. My mother was very reluctant about having one of these tickets, but I ended up getting one for her at the last minute. I just called Rosa at Paramount (she's really a sweetie!), and she had the passes ready for me when I arrived in Orlando. I just stopped by the office to pick them up since I had waited too late to allow for delivery. I think I called about 4 days before picking them up.

As far as redeeming the vouchers at Guest Relations, you simply show ID for the adults, and you are given a ticket with your name printed on it. You must do the finger scan on admission to the parks with this type of ticket, and always keep your ID handy in case of any snafus with the scan. Don't worry, it's not scary, and it's really such a great deal. The breakfast voucher can be used at several places. We used ours at the Crystal Palace, and the food was great!

Paramount will give you a copy of the vouchers with your ticket order, so keep these handy as well. In case of a lost ticket, you will have better luck with the voucher copies to get them replaced.

Now, go have fun, and quit worrying!

We have PAP's but when we took my niece and nephew in June we bought FITS for them so they could do everything we could and not pay extra. FITS was so easy to use. We took our vouchers to guest services (MGM) they took some info, gave the kids their tickets and we were on our way. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. And what a bonus to get a breakfast voucher.

As you can see I am leaving for the world in 10 days. I am going to post here when I get a chance after I exchange the vouchers and set your minds at ease.

I have no worries about this ticket at all. We spent $1701.00 to purchase them, I wouldn't have bought them if I thought they were no good, or if Paramount was not reputable. I am usually the biggest sceptic, but I am not at all sceptical or worried about using the passes. They are Disney passes. I am pretty sure only Paramount sells these tickets any more, Ticketmania used to, but they ran out and I am not sure if they are selling them anymore.

Just used a FITS pass last week! I purchased it through Paramont and just took it to Guest Services at MGM to redeem. This was for my son's friend that joined us. All the info they needed was: Name and Birthdate. My husband and I used the free breakfast voucher with no problems! I definately recommend using FITS especially for unlimited use of DQ!!

Are there any black out dates on the FITS passes...we will be there 12/18-12/28.

Oooh, I'm so interested in these! We are going for 8 days in May, and I have been trying to decide what tickets to buy. These might be my answer! We would need to redeem these at Epcot, but would be entering through the International gateway. Can we redeem these there?

Yes you can redeem them at any of the parks. No blackout dates were listed on ours and we reaqlly enjoyed that we could get into everything we wanted with these passes: park, waterparks, DI, PI and the I think the breakfast is a nice bonus.

Can anyone tell me where you can get these?

As far as I know only through paramount int'nl travel, and you have to do it by phone. The # is 1-888-281-6699, ask for Rosa, she handled just about everyone on this board's sales.

I have mine and they are legit.

This may seem like a stupid question, but can you park hop with the FITS pass like you can with the park hoppers?

Thanks!
Tracy

That's not a stupid question.

Sure, you can park hop all you want with this ticket. Go to MK in the morning, then go over to Animal Kingdom in the afternoon, then on to Disney Quest at night if you like. It's all based on 30 days of use, and expires 30 days from the first day of use in the parks.

Hope that helps!

sweet maxine,

Thanks SO much! That's the answer I was hoping for. Seems like most people use Paramount Tickets to purchase these. I'll be giving Rosa a call in the morning!

Thanks again

:teeth:

We went to the paramount office to pick them up, because I wanted to lay eyes on Rosa in person. She exists, was a young, friendly unassuming woman, who offered my DD some gummy bears.

We got one Annual Pass for my husband, which got us the AP discount at AKL, and paid for itself (the difference) since it permits free parking. With FITS you have to pay parking each day at the park. We spaced our visit over 3 weeks and it was wonderful.

Activation was not an issue at MK, although I was nervous. We used the breakfast vouchers at Boma, and our server was very familiar with them.

The AP for one for parking is a great idea. I was going to buy everybody a FITS. Does anyone know if the children's AP still has free parking (instead of paying for an adult)? Every little penny helps :D

We loved our FITS passes we used on our trip in June. We activiated at International Gateway at EPCOT. Took a little time at that point because she said they had just changed their computer system. I definitely would use these again. We were in the parks for 14 days, did both water parks and DT Disney. It was great to have the flexibility. The breakfast vouchers were just an added bonus which added to the value of the tickets. I thought these were definitely better than a hopper ticket. You didn't feel that you had to spend your entire day in the parks with these tickets.

Pam

So glad to hear we can trade these in at International Gateway. We will buy the FITS once they come out with the tickets that have an expiration past May 05!
