More Fireworks Magic confusion/information

Update: The last extra fireworks pin I got was on Tuesday night (3/21) and was for earning 240K+ without winning the game (2nd through 5th place). I just got another fireworks pin this morning (Friday 3/24) for the first game I played today that earned 240K+ with no win. If my count was correct, it took me 31 more games to get the pin. That was a whole heck of a lot of games! I've played each day this week.

Makes me wonder if the criteria for the extra fireworks pin is a combination of number of qualifying games AND a certain number of days between pins. Now I'm more curious than before. I'll start another tally and compare how long it takes to get my next pin for 240K+ no win games.

I really think it is more random-

I have one the pin in all places 1st-5th and with both getting over 240K and under 240K.

I have gotten pins as far apart as about 5 days and as close together as the same day

When I was trying to keep count I'd win a pin from 10-20 times in the top five

I really think it is way more random.
