More FastPass+ Testing Coming This Month

I think it came mostly from people here who stay in deluxe resorts. From the same people who say you can't watch Wishes from the Poly beach unless you're staying there.

I would say it comes from people who loves to scare others with their speculations but it has nothing to do with where you stay.

where did the idea that the fastpass + or Xpass will be deluxe only?? I keep reading that on here but no where else - is it just a rumor?? I think that would make too many people mad

I think it may also have something to do with the way that Universal does its its FOTL passes. If you stay at the Portifino for instance, you get FOTL access. Its changed somewhat, but its pretty nice. They have a smaller number of onsite resorts however, so I think that's what's led to the conjecture regarding the deluxe resort guests. Also, if they wanted to finally build some new deluxes (that were TRULY deluxe) they could if they implemented this system and keep them filled. That's all complete conjecture, but I think that's the prevailing thought process.

Personally, I've done VIP tours and they kinda suck because you are with someone else the whole time, but you do get in a large number of rides quickly. I would (again, this is my personal *wish*) definitely pay an upcharge to make the experience easier to manage. I hate the idea of making reservations for a ride, but I do wish they'd do something similar to Universal even if they couldn't roll it out for all guests. I'd even give up my beloved Swan for less waits and move over to the GF or CR. But that's just one guests wishes, we all have them, right? Ok, I'll stop wishing and go back to the real world

We'll be arriving Friday, 8/17 -I'm going to try to participate if possible and will report if we have any luck. I hear the last time they were selecting people from the ME check-in so I'll ask around.

On another note, WDWMagic is reporting that FP+ testing has been postponed until September.

I'm posting here because I just received a call from my AAA agent that they received a postcard from Disney for this test program. So I've got the 4 FP items lined up for the 21st of September. We'll see how it goes, certainly will be a nice treat on the first day, and I presume since this is a tester program, it'll be in addition to the regular ticketed FP program... yea!
