I'm sorry. I've read through the fast pass + faqs, read through unofficial guide, chatted with an thoroughly unhelpful cast member throug wdw's chat, and googled. I still can't figure out how to do something that seems like it should be relatively common.
We have 5 of us going. There are some rides I want us to have fastpasses together for, and some that we split up for.
For example, the day we go to Hollywood Studios I want the 5 of us to ride on Toy Story Mania together. We'll all get fastpasses for Tower of Terror even though my youngest can't ride because both my husband and I want to ride. But, we only want Star Tours fast passes for my husband and two older kids. My youngest and I will get fast passes for something else.
But I can't figure out how to do this. If I try to select two options (Toy Story & Tower of Terror) for all 5 of us, then it automatically selects a 3rd option for us all (an option we don't want.)
If I do the 3 who have all 3 fastpass attractions the same together, then when I try to get my youngest and I 2 of the same attractions (plus one different) we aren't on Toy Story and Tower of terror at the same time.
If I try to delete Star Tours for two of us to replace it with something different, it replaces all of our fastpasses.
My brain was ready to explode trying to do this last night! I can't imagine other families don't split up and ride together in a similar was, so it seems like it should be relatively common.
