More Ebay....

Does anyone know how to change the "shipping from" zip code when using the Paypal Shipping? I live about 3 miles from a post office, but the post office for my zip code is about 10 miles away. On the USPS website for Priority Mail, I can change the ship from zip code, but I don't see a way with Paypal.

If it's a 10 mile difference, it's not going to make a difference in price. You can't change the ship from address in paypal since it pulls the info from the address on your account.

Actually, I'm asking not for the price difference, but because the post office by my house can't accept a package with my zip code on it. They won't receive the revenue for that package so I would have to drive the 10 miles to my post office since my carrier won't pick them up. On the USPS website, there is a place to change the mail from zip code and that allows me to drop them off by my house. I would rather use Paypal since they fill out the address for you.

Oh, I have never heard of that. I always drop my packages off at a post office not in my zip code. We have about 4 PO's that I use and I've never had a problem. I think your clerk is just giving you a hard time.

Probably. It's a rural area though, so maybe it is important to them to receive the revenue. I sent an email to Paypal asking them about it. Hopefully, they can add that feature in the future.

I just discovered something else that sells like WILDFIRE! Vintage Girl Scout/ Brownie badges, patches and books. Holy Cow!!

I found two of my old sashes from the early 70's and 2 books, plus my brownie beanie. I bonded with them for a few minutes, remembered the good times, and then looked up how much they would go for on eBay. :p (I have boys, so they aren't going to want that stuff ever!)

I auctioned them all separately (5 auctions in all). They just ended a few minutes ago, for a total of $37! Not a huge amount of money, but more than I thought! One of the books went for $11 (probably more than my mom bought it for back in 1974! )

Anyway, just a testimony that there is always something to sell on eBay!

Yikes Marcy - I would probably have ignored those at a garage sale!!! I wish the weather would cooperate a little bit better around here. I need to try to find some stuff to resell. I have nothing left to bring in any big bucks (unless I am missing something here!)

eBay ID - jgates - this week & next? Noritake Bone China egg(s) and Children's Place girls clothing & Easter dresses!!!
