DS (2) has been saying this again and again since we got back from our 10 day trip last week. Unfortunately it will be at least 3 years before we will get to go there again..sigh :sad1:

We had a truly magical experience and I just want to thank everyone on these boards for the advice and information that helped made our trip such an enjoyable experience. DIS members rock :thumbsup2

We spent 7 nights at the new Double Tree Suites at the Convention Centre and then 2 nights at the GCH. Next time we will scrimp and save, even cut corners on other parts of the trip to stay there for the whole trip. The convenience of being so close to the parks is invaluable when travelling with a toddler. Also the GCH is a fantastic hotel. I can't say anything bad about it and it was a busy time for them, sold out almost every night.

The beef strip nachos at White Water Snacks (GCH) is a mouth watering experience, just don't try to eat the whole thing on your own. Get it to go or share. Its massive. It became a staple part of my diet. DS loved the mini corn dogs at Ralph Brennans Jazz Kitchen - its the kids meal at the express place.

We had 8 day park hoppers that I prepurchased from the Disney Travel Company at a great rate. Unfortunately and annual pass wasn't an option for us as we won't be able to go back within a year. Australia is a long way.

We were there 10 days and the 8 day hopper was perfect as some days DH too DS to the park whilst I went shopping, we don't have the GAP or Old Navy here in Australia, so I was in shopping heaven. Then DH went to Vegas for 2 days and I did the park on my own with DS. So we got full use of our tickets.

DS loved The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh the best, we rode this over 34 times. I stopped counting after that... it was getting ridiculous. He also enjoyed IASM, Alice in Wonderland, Dumbo, Tea Cups, Buzz and the Rockets in Tomorrowland. That Heffalump song is still in my head a week later.

The park itself was very busy during the 2 weekends we were there, as it was the end of the 50th and start of Halloween. The HM Holiday treatment is awesome, I loved every minute of it. DS was still too small for some of the rides unfortunately, but can't wait till next time.

My biggest regret is not spending more time at DCA. Unfortunately we just ran out of time. The 34 times on Pooh probably didn't help. I think we also did IASW at least 20 times :) It even broke down one time and I was stuck on there with DS for over 20min. Let me tell you, 20min of "that" song will send anyone insane... DS loved it and was upset when after 20min they finally turned the music off. Lucky him they worked out the problem and the ride started again 5min later.

If anyone has any questions, about anything, let me know, I am happy to answer if I can.

I am starting to post pics and a semi-trip report on there.

Thanks again DIS members for a truely awesome family vacation.

Glad to hear you and your family had a great trip! I hope you get to return to DL soon! :goodvibes

I was surprised to read that you don't have a GAP or Old Navy out there! I love GAP & Banana Republic. I don't know what I would do without those stores! :confused3
