A friend of mine referred me to this site and I did it and today I got the money in. The whole transaction took less than a week. It is www.cashforcds.com. You can sell them used CDs, DVDs, video games, etc. Good luck!!

Thanks! I had some old CDs of my ex-DH's laying around and I sold them at your link....I only got $30 for them, but hey - I never played them and didn't like the artists so I consider it a gain!!

The website says they send you a check or credit your paypal account (your choice) the day they receive your discs. I think this looks really easy, they'll even send you a prepaid mailer. Has anyone completed a transaction with them? Good or bad experience?

FYI www.secondspin.com also buys used CDs, DVDs and games. They also pay via Paypal.

Second Spin is incredibly picky ... whatever you sell to them must be *absolutely* perfect or they will return it to you. How is Cash for CDs? Same way?

It's nice that Cash for CDs sends a pre-paid mailer ... you have to pay to mail your own items to Second Spin. I'm going to poke around and see how their "prices" compare ...

Did you pay for delivery confirmation?

Did you follow up with them to be sure they received your cd's? Or did you hear from them?

They send you a prepaid mailer to send them in.

They were offering me three bucks for my son's Kingdom Hearts PS2 game bummed about that. Still a cool idea though!

They sent me a box with a prepaid mailer to send everything to them. I got the check in less than a week after starting the whole process. I have done half.com before but then you need to wait for the money and wait for someone to buy it. They will not accept heavily damaged CDs but if there are light scratches they will take them (they took mine!)

Hey, I'm thinking, load CD's to computer, mail in CD's, get ipod.

No, they don't want the jewel cases, just the front and back covers. It is a little tricky to get the back cover out, but it can be done. You also have to return the quote list with the CDs when you mail it in. I mailed mine today! Hopefully I will have a check by the end of next week.

I just got a quote from them and it was $39 for about 30 CDs. Unfortunatly they did not list the individual amounts for each item.

Thanks for responding back. The next time we clear out games and music I'll get a quote, but it sounds like I might do just as well selling them at my yard sale . Bummer- reselling games and music is not a great moneymaker.
