The most dangerous thing is SNEEZING and driving. Ever had a sneeze attack at the wheel? Whoa!

not an attack, but one time, while zipping along the highway, I sneezed. and you know how you close your eyes when you sneeze? well the last thing I saw was a whole chritsmas tree of red lights in fron of me!!!

On our expressways it can go from 80mph to 0mph in only a few hundred feet. luckily I leave enough room, ususally. and I did not rear-end the pack of traffic. but it got me a little shot of adrenalin!

Or a coughing fit....I had bronchitis a few years ago, was driving home on the freeway and started coughing. I couldn't stop....I was swerving and speeding, and yes I got pulled over. The officer reduced my ticket when I told him why I was driving that way and showed him my prescription but I did still get a speeding ticket, fine and had to take driving school. Apparently I went from 60-80 in a matter of seconds.......

That's exactly what I am talking about. Eyes closed for almost a full second - an eternity when you're driving 70 mph on the interstate. Now imagine having to sneeze every two seconds. It's PULL OVER time!

I know just how scary this can be. I sneeze ALL THE TIME. And, when I sneeze, I sneeze anywhere from 6 to 10 times. I have allergies and take medication, but I sneeze like this several times every single day.

I worry about this with DH...he's one to sneeze for 5 minutes straight!

I never sneeze more than twice, and there's always a big pause between them. :confused3

This exact thing happened to my husband yesterday while we were driving together. On the expressway doing 60 miles an hour, he starts a sneezing jag and by the fourth sneeze I'm trying to get him to pull over. Nah! Its the whole eyes closed that can get scary w/o much pause between the sneezes.

Just like this guy!

I know what you mean. It wasn't bronchitis but I had a coughing fit where I got so dizzy I couldn't see even though my eyes were open. It was probably only a couple seconds but it is pretty scary driving down a highway and you don't know where you are.
