Trying to decide whether or not to rent a car this Fall. Havent done that in many years and really don't want to. I've heard some people have had bad ME experiences lately, but are these the norm or have many of u been fine with the service?

interested too! we wont rent a car, but if things are bad with longer than normal waits we could use a different service.

In the same boat come sept. I was able to book a private round trip with grocery stop for 140. Looking at cars a Monday to Friday’s mid size is 190. Plus they charge for parking at the resorts so it would be closer to 270 with parking and gas and tolls.

We decided to go with a rental for November to avoid the park/resort bus waits as well as magical express. So much is up in the air for this trip..

I didn't think about a private service....$140 is great when u consider rental + tolls + parking at resort...and I can even wait to decide until closer to the date. Trying to avoid buses if possible while on property...will be staying at EP resort and planned to basically be at EP and HS the whole week+. Thanks for the great idea!

If the rental was 100 I would maybe take it. Hopefully the pricing comes down or I will just go with the private service.

We were fine with the ME service - when we arrived we waited about 15 minutes, were the first ones on our bus, the bus was well spaced out (seats were assigned - but there was a good 6 rows between us and the next party), and we left within about 5 minutes of getting on the bus. No issues going back to the airport (other than the ridiculously early pick up, but that's unavoidable and nothing new) - there was only one other party on the entire bus with us and we didn't have to stop at any other resorts.

We were there 7/19-27. When we arrived, the sign said there was a 60 minute wait. About 20 minutes in, they put us on a private Mears van and took us straight to our resort. Returning back to MCO was a piece of cake.

People are reporting longer waits for park buses at MK and DHS. Park buses only hold 15 people now if that helps make the decision on renting a car. If you are going during the holiday's the wait will more than likely be even longer.

Park buses hold up to 25 people, but not more than 6 parties.
