More Croc Questions

I wore my Crocs our whole trip (with one or two exceptions of flip flops, my DD was my fashion consultant, we couldn't leave the room without her approval!!), the only complaint I had is that my feet collected hair :scared: from walking.. I would take my shoes off and with a baby wipe clean them out on occasion.. I've never heard anyone else mention this before so mabye it's just me!

I only have the fake crocs, but am considering buying the real thing after reading all these posts. I think, but don't know, that my feet would feel sweaty... do you wear socks with them or barefoot? If socks, no show or dark or ??? what looks best? Thanks!

I wear "Beach" style crocs with no-show socks. Even when I got caught in a downpour at Epcot, my feet were dry within an hour and my family's sneakers took DAYS to dry out. I was also the only one whose feet never hurt at the end of the day, and when everyone else was tired, I could have kept going. I can't say enough good things about crocs.

One thing though is that I can't wear them without socks. The little nubs, while so comforting with socks on, are a little irritating to my bare feet, plus I worry about my feet getting sweaty, sticky, sliding around, etc. With socks, though, they're perfect.

I know a lot of people think crocs are hideous enough alone and a complete sin with socks, but...it's Disney! When the status quo is wandering around in bike shorts, decades-old Disney tees, and fanny packs, I REALLY don't think anyone should worry too much about committing a fashion faux pas by wearing socks with their comfortable footwear.

I never thought I would wear crocs but my last June trip my feet swelled so bad I cound not put my tennis shoes on so I bought the crocs at the hotel and now would never walk the parks with out them they are Great

My kids wore fake crocs exclusively during our June 2008 trip with zero complaints. They were, however, in a stroller most of the time. It is certainly easier to get the kids ready with slip on shoes! I personally don't like them. I find them too wide for my foot, like I'm swimming in shoes! As a nurse, I work with many who swear by these shoes. Give them a try, and see what you think. All feet are different!:rainbow:

Got my Crocs - and am breaking them in - only 36 days till we're in the World!!WOOHOO!:yay:
I think I'm loving them - I've had to wear a "boot" for a stress fractured metatarsal for the past 4 wks (2 more to go) but walked around today in just my crocs - no foot pain just some ankle pain from disuse. I've worn them with socks and without and think either way will be ok - with all the holes esp. on the sides they seem very airy and comfy.princess:
