More Cricut Questions

I just got my Cricut for Christmas, so I am still learning. It is the personal one. Can I use the Design Studio with this one? If so, in order to buy and use SCAL do I need Design Studio?
So far I am loving the Cricut!

You can use the cds with all versions of the cricut. Also, no, you don't need to have cds to use SCAL, but you do need to have the trial version of cds in order to update firmware on your cricut. I, too, love my cricut. Hardly a day goes by where I'm not using it for something!

Thanks for the help. I was under the impression that Design Studio only worked with the larger machines.

you can use it with any cricut machine but you have to have a PC, it's not Mac compatible unless you have a the dual boot processor.

I'm going to download the trial version of DS to check it out.

BernardandMissBianca...beautiful today in CT, but unfortunately it isn't going to last. Yucky weather again tonight and tomorrow morning. Hope it isn't bad enough to delay school. I want to go to Joanns and Michaels in the morning.

It is nice today, I opened a few windows just to let the fresh air in and get rid of the germies!
Not thrilled the weather is going down hill tomorrow but at least it's not 5º outside anymore!! Spring is almost here, I can tell, the yard is a swampy mess. LOL

I hope we don't have a delay, we are already behind on CMT's from last weeks bad weather.
