We are planning to do dinner at the Napa room at the California Grill, and from what I've read on here, we'll get to see and hear the wishes! YAY!! fireworkspixiedust:

I know that the minimum per person is $100 for events after 2 (ours will start at 6:00), but I'm wondering how easy it is to actually stick to the $100 minimum and not go over. Does anyone know prices for stuff at the California Grill, or have any idea where I can find a menu with the buffet options? Also, does anyone know the prices per person for an open bar? :confused3

Next, does the California Grill include any decorating at all, or is it just bare tables? Do they have tableclothes and stuff? Am I right to assume that the ONLY decorating that I'll need to do is centerpieces?? What do centerpieces from disney cost, and is it cheaper and worth the hastle to bring your own??

AND, any suggestions as to music? I know some people had an ipod set up... how much did that cost? If I would have a solo musician, such as a violionist, would that be weird? Or do you think that we'd need like a whole band or at least a trio?

Thanks for the help, ladies! :)

I'm curious as well to see what info I can get on the private rooms there. I read there was anywhere from a $2000 - 4000 minimums to have the private rooms there. As were having an escape wedding with 20 people including the bride and groom I don't know if that is too high... any suggestions for me as well would be appreciated... :flower3:

Seeing Wishes! really depends upon what time of year your wedding will be. Our wedding was in December on a MVMCP night so Wishes! was at 6pm. Most nights Wishes! is at 9pm. I just wanted to put that out there so no one is disappointed.

We were married this past December and had our reception in the Sonoma Room. It was the absolute best part of our wedding. We are currently on honeymoon #2 in California so I'll have to post more info later. If anyone has specific questions, post them and I'll answer next week!

We are getting married on April 20, 2009. I checked the times for April 20th this year, and I belive it said 10:00 they will start... which would work out perfectly. I'm just hoping everything works out as perfectly as I have it planned out in my head. I know things don't always work out the way I want them to though!:rotfl:

You would probably want to get the most updated bar information from your planner but here's what I've found with the info they sent us. The meal packages they sent were all around the 100$ range so you would think you could keep it close. However the drink prices are pretty high. If you plan on drinks for the length of a 5 hour reception the prices seem to start just above $20 pp and that's just for the soda, water and juice option no alcohol. The prices go up from there. So it looks like we'll have to budget around at least 120$ pp. For a private escape wedding I'm not sure how the pricing would work though.
