More Booze in the MK!

We're living that dream here in Colorado, which is why I'm a bit more sensitive to it. Because it's taken over all outdoor venues, it's taken over the ski towns, to the point where you honestly cannot escape the smell.

And I say that as someone who'll be stopping by a dispensary today. I'm not critiquing anyone who chooses to imbibe, but there are real consequences to these things that ae often overlooked in the service of what seems like harmless fun.

It is legal in Seattle too and you rarely smell it. Smokers are still the far larger problem stinking up the place when they walk down the street. Isn't Colorado like Washington State with very strict outdoor smoking laws? What kind of outdoor venue still allows smoking?

Almost none, but they do it anyway. Concerts are the worst, but outdoor festivals and such are invaded, too. At the intersection of I-25 and 6th you can smell the grow farm from your car doing 60. You can even smell it at night at the skating rinks. It's everywhere.

I remember reading that because Colorado had medical laws in place, the dispensaries exploded here at a different level than they did in Washington. Or maybe you've been smarter with regulation.
