DH is getting tired of my making him repeatedly tour the "yarden", so I'm sharing more pics with my Dis buds. (One tour a day is <i>not</i> asking too much of him, IMHO, however...)

There's just something about the wonder of plants, that makes their very existence beg to be shared and witnessed.
I think this is our first ear of corn emerging:

I planted at least two kinds of sunflowers. This one has buds in several places towards the top. I can't wait till it blooms:

This is my first baby pumpkin. The vine is getting much bigger than I had anticipated, and has already outgrown the confines of the childrens' garden. It's a pretty little thing, though:

This is my rose from Georgia. The original owner of the house had planted all sorts of things. I spent my time at that house primarily finding all the treasures he had left. Most everything had been overtaken by poison oak, three kinds of ivy, and neglect. It was a true "Secret Garden", waiting to be discovered. I have absolutely no idea what kind of rose it is:
