DH is getting tired of my making him repeatedly tour the "yarden", so I'm sharing more pics with my Dis buds. (One tour a day is not asking too much of him, IMHO, however...):teeth: ;)
There's just something about the wonder of plants, that makes their very existence beg to be shared and witnessed.

I think this is our first ear of corn emerging:

I planted at least two kinds of sunflowers. This one has buds in several places towards the top. I can't wait till it blooms:

This is my first baby pumpkin. The vine is getting much bigger than I had anticipated, and has already outgrown the confines of the childrens' garden. It's a pretty little thing, though:

This is my rose from Georgia. The original owner of the house had planted all sorts of things. I spent my time at that house primarily finding all the treasures he had left. Most everything had been overtaken by poison oak, three kinds of ivy, and neglect. It was a true "Secret Garden", waiting to be discovered. I have absolutely no idea what kind of rose it is:

And a brug blossom:

Thanks for letting me share with ya'll!

:D

Thank you for sharing the pictures with us....please post some more...anytime.!!!

Hey Mal! Thank you! Yes, I started it from a cutting. I found several of these little rose bushes hidden around the patio, being choked by ivy, at my home in GA. I sent one home with my mother, and I got a cutting from it last summer.
It's on its own rootstock, a mini, and very disease resistant. I saw something similar for sell at Lowe's a few years ago, marked "Romeo". I looked it up, though, and came up with "Romeo" being a full-sized rose. I'd love to know what it is.

amid chaos, Thank you so much! :D

I enjoy your photos very much. I love that little rose bush.

Lot's of blooms on your rose, Angela, very pretty! :)

I have to keep checking your location! I'm always thrown a bit when I see other Buds with their gardens so far along! :)

How big is the children's garden? Did you ever read Drat's thread on growing giant pumpkins?

You have corn...I love corn on the cob! :)

Very nice, feel free to share anytime, and thank your DH for us! :)

Tulirose, Thank you! :D He is my favorite. ;)

Snowwark, Hi! I'm in dry, but warm and sunny Florida. The children's garden is getting pretty tall, considering how I squeezed everything in there. DH and I moved the planters that were surrounding it yesterday evening, because the things growing in them weren't getting enough sun.
I'll be so happy if we actually get enough corn to eat. Other than a few failed tomato plants in GA, this is my first try at growing vegetables. Our pumpkins are the tiny, little ornamental variety.
I was picking at DH yesterday, about my posting pictures here. So, he made a valiant effort to go look at the new pea pods. Of course, he was searching all over a sunflower plant for these pea pods, but he tried. He's a sweetie, but he'd much rather clean the house than work in the yard. I'd much rather he clean the house , too! :teeth:

Love your pics, thanks for posting:flower:
Your rose is beautiful! You've uncovered some great treasures.
