Good luck with it susy! (I'm blonde and green eyed too!) ;)

QVC had a "Try Me" special for Bare Escentuals the other night priced at around $25 (plus $5 s/h). I couldn't resist ordering it.

The "Try Me" special comes with 5 pieces: foundation, Warmth, a foundation brush, eyeliner (I think), and a liner brush.

I ordered the Medium and hope it's right. It came in 5 different shades; the Medium is in the middle. Normally, I wear Sand Beige foundation.

JJ, I think medium is the catagory where most people fall. I saw that this a.m. as I was getting ready for work. Those little try-mes are usually a good value. Heck, makeup brushes and so expensive! I have that brush already. I have even "loaded" it and took it with me for a touch-up!
Good luck!

I'd like to see this infomercial but I've never seen it!

OK what would you recommend if you are a red head (well I will be again in a week!) and have oily skin and it's very Irish! Thanks for the thread guys I was just wondering about finally ordering make up in my late 30's. Got to get rid of the bags under my eyes but isn't that the kids fault!:D

I was wondering about this too!

I caught it on either the HSN or QVC--anyway, I am very light complected, blue eyes, bottle blonde (but born a blonde :p ) and I'm not sure if I'm light or medium.

I wear a Clinique foundation in the Soft Bisque shade....I was afraid to order it because I'm not really sure where my skin tone falls.

s&k'smom,
If you are really really fair then you might go with the #1(which might be called fair--anyway it is the lightest). It is very light though. I'd be more likely to try the #2 which is called light. It has more of a yellow base to it. Medium (#3) is a bit pinker toned.

Blondie,
I bet you could wear either #2 or #3 like I can. I'm wearing #2 today but tomorrow I could easily wear#3. They are just not like a liquid when it comes to picking the right color.
