Some of you will remember a few weeks ago, I posted a thread about two girls hanging out in our backyard without our permission. The thread got a little ugly, so I didn't want to dredge it back up. However, if you want to read it, here's the link: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2379604
With that said, there was another incident over the weekend. I was inside the house and all of a sudden a boy and girl (both 12 or 13?) came FLYING past our pool screen, screaming like banshees. I went over to the windows in our guest room and saw them standing right up by the bedroom windows. They took off around the side of our house again. I went out front to take my dog out and they were chasing each other through the whole neighborhood, running up peoples' driveways, grabbing on to cars and hiding behind them, etc. It was pretty appalling. My mom is pretty mad about it, and of course she is never around when it happens.
I found out they are neighborhood kids. Do you think we should go down and speak with their parents? If we did, it would be in a nice manner, of course. We don't want any enemies, but they need to stop coming in our backyard. At this time, we can't build a fence, so that's out. I definitely wouldn't mind having one in the future though. I don't know if we'd need to get permission from the city to build one, as 99.9% of the homes in our city are without fences. So I figure we can either try talking to the parents, or let it go completely and hope someone doesn't fall and break a leg, and then we could be dealing with a ridiculous lawsuit.
