More advantages- AKL or CR?

I am planning our first trip in mid November. Before Thanksgiving but after Veterans Day. Since that considered the off season I am guessing the hours will be reduced. I want a resort that we can do things in and around and not feel we have to go straight to our rooms. I have twin 6 year olds so any help making my decision is appreciated. Which hotel has more things to do, is nicer, etc.

AKL is a newer resort, and if your kids are animal lovers they would enjoy the numerous activities available there. It is also nearer to DD, where all the nightlife lives. However, the CR is closer to MK, which is where your six year olds will probably want to spend most of their time. Personally, I would choose AKL. If you are staying more than a few days I highly recommend doing a split stay between AKL and WL -- two great resorts with a lot of good kid activities, one near the MK, one further out...
