More Ads on the Disboards Than Normal?

It seems like there used to be just 3 ads at the bottom of the page, and none inside a thread unless you weren't logged in.

Now there are ads in the threads even though I'm logged in, and there are 8 ads at the bottom plus 3 videos under those.

Why so many?

I know some people use ad blockers, but the ads for me have never really been that annoying. Until now.

I had the same thing a couple days ago when using my phone. I added an EXTRA ad blocker and that got rid of all of them. I haven't noticed it much on my PC...yet.

I have ad block on my phone. It wasn't blocking any of the ads a couple days ago. So I added another ad blocker to take care of the problem. Having to use TWO ad blockers for one site is ridiculous.

I've been noticing this all week. Ad on the 3rd post, then 8 large thumbnails for topics at the bottom followed by videos. Annoying.

And I thought it was just a new member with the avatar of DIS with the old time TF's giving him/her the "Advertisement" as their tag..............

He/she never says much but that could be my Adblocker working.....never my ignore.

I don't get any giant DIS..and as far as I can tell, adblocker is blocking all ads for me. Wonder why its different for some people

I'm just in the habit of ignoring them, so I don't know. Looking now there are ads. But to me, that's better than having to pay for access.
