Uma, congrats on your soon to arrive family addition! How exciting! Last one I got hubby and DD went out without my knowledge and bought a WHITE one, when all my other appliances are beige or beige/black combo! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Luckily you don't see it when you walk in the kitchen, it's on the opposite wall. They couldn't understand why I was upset!

Nothing exciting to report here today. I was hoping to take tomorrow off before budget season starts on Monday, but it's not happening.....

Evening, Moopies!

Back-to-back meetings all day at work today!!! I made it on time for the 7:30 meeting. Phewwww!

Went to my coworkers' house for dinner after work tonight. That was a nice way to cap off a very busy day!

Of course we spent some time post-morteming our work meetings, but it was fun to do that over dinner and adult beverages

glad you had some down time not gathered around a conference table. You deserve it.

Good Moooorning!

EveryoneSoInterestedInWhereThePennyIsGoing - I actually didn't have to dig through his pooh to find it. When I looked in the potty it was there, it had fallen through and was sitting on the bottom. I just flushed it. So, no it will not be back in circulation. That's just horribly gross. It's sitting in the bottom of our septic tank as we speak.

Slow night last night here. We have been watched Season 5 of Smallville in bed at night. I was fighting sleep around 9:10 and turned it off and went to sleep soon after 9:30. Tomorrow I am 12 weeks. I hope this passes soon!

This morning I put on my largest/roomiest jean shorts and they were tight against my belly. Yikes! I might not make it to 14 weeks like Twinkie before I have to get out my maternity shorts. Depending on what shirt I wear I either look really pudgy or pregnant. I try to keep with the looking more pregnant shirts. LOL!

All my house cleaning chores are done! Hooray! Except of course laundry. So I don't have too much today. My Mom is coming to pick up the kids this morning for an hour at the library. Which gives me an hour with just Kaleb.

It's that day again, making up a dinner menu for next week. Yuck!

Last night we had BabyN's recipe. Except I added red onions and white wine. It was goog.

Tonight I think is a new asian type pasta chicken thing.

I gotta find some new things for next week. Maybe I can sneak in tacos.

It is hot today, I wish it would make up it's mind... From one extreme to another.

Mommy P-- wish I was done my chores. I really need to vacuum and dust today. Maybe even fit in scrubbing the kitchen floor before everyone is home on the weekend.

I have been going to bed at 10:00 myself these last few nights. But can't blame it on pregnancy. Just age I guess.

Have to take the kids out tonight to get something for Father's day. They want to get him some chocolate or something. I saw a t-shirt you could buy , that you put the kids hand prints on it and it says Best Dad Hands down on it. Probably sold out by now.

They already made things at school for him. So I am not to worried about it.

Goood Morning all!

Going to the park for a couple hours today. We actually go almost everyday just because our back yard isn't finished. The seagulls entertain us. It's nice to chat with adults... a nice break from potty training and nose wiping!


I am super excited about a WISH thread meet. See, if you come anywhere near Utah, I'll take you out to lunch (if you're female). It's this next week sometime with Winkers and Spongie (whom I've "met" once or twice).

Four more days till my socks are rocked with the Sears Delivery man!!!! Wait, that didn't sound quite right. The Sears delivery man is bringing me something to rock my socks! Er, One more try: The Sears Delivery man is bringing me some rocks and socks and a new fridge!!!!

Can't believe I only got one room cleaned in all this time.

I had to change out our satellite receiver because they want more money from us. They are changing the software and told us the old one won't work come Aug. Great. But for $99.00 and movie credits you can have one sent out to you.

So I move the TV out, wish I hadn't Dust mixed with a thousand cables back there. But it is all cleaned up all the cables wiped down carefully not to pull any out.

One receiver in other out. I made sure I made a diagram first of what went where.

What happened to the day you plug your TV in, put the cable to it done.....

UMA-- sea gulls scare me. The come pretty close and swoop. We had to duck a lot at the zoo the other day. Is your park close enough to walk too...

I have on a shirt from Tommy Hilfiger. I went into an outlet when I was in Charleston and I was joking around with some of my more voluptuous coworker friends that we couldn't find anything in that store for us -
then I saw a cute shirt.
And tried on an XXL.
They looked at me and said "Amber, that's too big. You have to go down a size."
I almost cried!
So I tried on an XL. Still too big.
So today I am wearing a REAL designer's size L shirt.
WOOOOOO!

Alright. That is all.
Oh. Except that I had dirty dreams about a guy from the dis. And it freaked me out!

The Daytime Emmys are on tonight. I want to see it the View wins this year. They are up against Ellen so probably not. Most of the awards are soaps and I only watch one. Young and the Restless and General Hospital usually take them all anyway.

My budget season has officially started, EEEKK! Room Nights are in the system, I got a week to turn it in, which is no time at all! So I will be working this weekend (from my couch at least).

I can't believe I forgot THIS!

Yesterday Kaleb had something in his mouth. I asked him what he had in his mouth and he swallowed. Ethan said it was money and that would make sense since I had found money in his mouth many times yesterday.

It was either a penny or dime, or heaven forbid a nickel. So I called the DR and they said to give him some bread and if he threw it up he needed to go have x-rays, but if he kept it down then just watch his poop for the next 3days to make sure it passes. If it doesn't then he has x-rays and watch for 3 weeks if it doesn't pass in 3 weeks then it's surgery. And he doesn't have any insurance yet. So PRAY! Pray he passes it in the next 3 days!!!

Of course there is the problem of finding it. Since he is potty trained and uses the big potty. I don't even think he'll sit on the little one. Now would be a good time for him to do all his poops while at naps so he goes in his diaper. Of course that won't happen!

I cannot believe I actually have valuable information to share, but : go to the dollar store and buy a colander. Use it to go fishing after potty time, and check for the moola. Once you've found the treasure RUN with said colander to the nearest trash disposal receptacle.

Busy doing Father's day crafts here with the kids.

Hannah made a shirt and tie card at school for her dad so now she wants to make her Grandfather one too.

We just got back from shopping too. She wanted each to have chocolate too ,so we got chocolate covered almonds.

Kimmie and MommyP, luckily never had a need for such a device (but great idea) at least I was not AWARE that I might need it. Kids made it to adulthood, so I guess it was OK either way.

Closest I came to panicking was when DS at age 2 or so got to drinking some cleaner. I remember panicking, but can't remember what I actually did! I assume I called the pediatritian Anyway, he made it alive to annoy me , on purpose, like tickling my feet as he walks by, or this afternoon threatining me with smearing my face with peach juice.....

I picked up my new reading glasses this afternoon that I paid $200 for and can't tell any difference from my $16 drugstore glasses!!!!! What to do?

I am with Marita my kids never put anything in there mouths. Or drank anything either. Worse thing I had was stitches for Nicholas when he was 2 and hit the toy box. Has a nice scar in his eye brow to prove it.

Marita-- funny about the glasses. Do you have coverage at work for glasses?

I have some coverage, but I am not enrolled in the Vision plan. So insurance paid for the $15 exam, but not the glasses.

Oh that reminds me,Dr. said I am developing cataracts and they got worse since last year, and I might need surgery in a year or 2
So I better check out my options for the new enrollment options when they come up.

WOO HOO - Sounds like you're getting skinny!!!

I went out to lunch at our regular Chinese place with a couple of coworkers and their stomachs started feeling funky this afternoon So far, so good for me. I'm wondering if it might have been the pot stickers. I only had one.

My DH and I just took 20 minutes to decide not to go out for dinner and/or a movie. As usual, we couldn't agree on a movie to see together. So it looks like we're eating here and he's watching Stargate.

Guess I'll go find a book to read.

So DD and I are watching Price is RIght. DD just informed me that at football bames in her college, they have a game called "DRINKO". Board made of wood like Plinko board, and whatever place the chip lands on, you have to drink the shot of whatever is placed there.

Well geesh I should've kept reading before I posted. Good to know that Mommy P's little boy is not a piggy bank!

And when I rushed my boy to the pediatrician, he said that the only items they REALLY get concerned about are batteries. He said he'd recently had little patients that passed -- get this -- a broken flashlight bulb, and a carpentry staple. YOWCH!! Except, apparently not. Evidently the human body has ways to compensate for sharp objects in one's innards.

when my daughter swollowed a chain from a keyring.....I took one of those spoons with holes in it.....and smooshed up poop.....one day I said the heckwith this .....cause we were at my sisters house and then she said....YAH smoosh it and voila there was the chain.....rusted but there...
