Diet coke is ok. I'm a Pepsi fanatic myself .
You forgot to mention that thing you have for the Orange( are they still call men or is that politically incorrect?)
Oh and :bday: party: to your twins!

If you know your Irish history OrangeMen are like the KKK... But here in the US it's not really well known. Go to Belfast and try to go to Mass. You might learn real quick how lucky you are to live here... I'm Just Sayn';)

But I am a Syracuse Fan (had season tickets for many years...):)

Good morning!

Twinkie - Maternity clothes? I'm jealous! I have nicer maternity clothes than regular clothes. I can't wait to get mine out! I just love being pregnant, there is nothing more freeing than being expected to have a belly! ;)

Well, I'm off to school.

Someone at church gave me a exercise bike of sorts to use, I did 1 and a half miles yesterday. I'm going for 2 today.

Morning all! I'm off to our company's kidney camp for the morning/day. It's called Camp Okawhena? I always mispell it. It's for kids who are on dialysis. They get to spend a week at camp and have a carnival, swim, do crafts, have prom, etc.
This is the first year I'm going to help.
I'm very excited!

Morning All,

It is cold outside and today the bus is late. Glad we only have a few more weeks of that darn school bus.

UnderDog-- thanks for telling us who you are. Happy Belated Birthday to your twins. I can tell you love your family. Drinking age here in Canada is 19 so Bridget could drink here....:lmao:

Celery -- have fun at summer camp. Don't forget to write home....:rotfl:

Mommy P -- Don't over do it on the bike, Soon your belly will be in the way anyway.

Happy Tuesday, all.

Just drivin' by, sayin' hi.

And mostly procrastinating.

Bah.

Y'all good?

Oh yeah- UMA...I second MommyP's emotion.

CLEANOUTYERPM'SRIGHTNOW.

Geez.

Heh, heh.

Alright.

Off to find a cheese danish.

And then to work.

LY/MI to all.

xx, S.

:dance3: :dance3:

SORRY!!!!!!! I'm just back from a party with my son and daughter and well I had a few pints and a GREAT time. I just love them!!!!!

Congrats! You all look like you really enjoy being together. That is our goal- that when our kids are grown they will still like to hang out with us. (and vice versa too ;) )

Twinkie - Maternity clothes? I'm jealous! I have nicer maternity clothes than regular clothes. I can't wait to get mine out! I just love being pregnant, there is nothing more freeing than being expected to have a belly! ;)
Way to go on the exercise. I never do anything. It is my vacation from exercise. Well I am inbetween- maternity clothes are too big and my clothes are not comfy. Maybe I need a moomoo.

Sounds fun celery. Of course those fake camp names always give me the giggles- makes me think of Nemo and Wannahockaloogie.

Celery -- have fun at summer camp. Don't forget to write home....:rotfl:

oh yeah, and leaves of three- LET THEM BE!

How are you doing Kay? Did you ever solve the mystery of how you got poison ivy?

My roommate at boarding school ending up with a bad case all over including some um, er, delicate locations. The school nurse and the admin gave her a really hard time and accused her of some "honor code" violations. However, it turns out that she is super susceptible AND had gone swimming in a local swimmin' hole where some poision ivy vines had trailed into the water. So folks don't underestimate the power of poison ivy- you can get a rash from the leaves, stem, roots, vines, any dead plant parts AND the smoke if you burn it. Dr. Twinkie, former botany major at your service!

I still think I must have brushed against some poison ivy in the woods when I was off the trails. If I stay on the trails, I'm not touching anything and it's never a problem. It just seems odd I could get it right through my clothes. Wehn I had poison oak before it looked positievly gruesome, but it didn't itech as badly and it didn't hurt. With the poison ivy, it hurts all the time like a sunburn. I'm still pretty miserable.

PM box cleanish. AND I washed my cell-phone yesterday that held allllllllll my precious phone numbers! Cell phones don't like to be washed, generally, but it keeps wanting to come back to life! Blow drying it without the battery actually helped. It's a new phone that doesn't have the no-matter-what warrantee. SO, I'm switching to the pink Razor today. Which is a huge pain in the bum, but I can't imagine not having a phone. CRAP! The Verizon dude said to keep cool setting blow drying it and maybe it'll come back to me! I hope!

OH!!! JUST so's y'all know, Bath and Body Works is having all their Body Washes and Shower Gels for $3.00 right now! BOOyah!

SID! MY phone had the carousel pictures on it! Pooh!

Hiya!

Has anyone had the new Dorito's called X-13D??? I of course had to pickup a sample bag at Walmart this morning and I have to say that they taste exactly like a hamburger with all of the toppings! I'm embarassed to admit that I actually like them! They are so weird but so good!

Nab - It's cold and yucky here today too! One of those days I would rather stay in bed!

Uma - I hope the phone dries up for ya! I have the pink razor and love it so if you have to get a new one, you will not be disappointed! I have washed several remote controls in my day. I just pick up the comforter and throw it in and forget to look for the remote...oopsies!!!!

Hi to everyone else! Hope your day is well :)

Sometimes I'm really dense. HK? Why sorry to me? (I told you I'm dense. I'm sure it makes perfect sense, I just don't get it!

I found the post I was referring to:
I tastes like nat's piss???? Sorry, I didnt mean to post that, he just said that while I was opening this post. (He being the chef from Hell)

What I meant to say, Nab, why are you watching a ballgame vs. Hell's Kitchen? I thought you wanted to see that?

My apologies Celery. I should've wrote BackStage gal instead of your name. I saw BSG's post and then I saw a thread about gnats. I , thought maybe one of you started it.

I've got to catch up on my reading later.....

Have a great day all :sunny:

I am SO sorry I went MIA. I have never felt this horrible being pregnant! I am SO tired all the time. I've never been so tired and I have no energy. At all. I was feeling disconnected from everyone for some reason and I just didn't feel like coming online. I should have PM'd you all and let you know I was okay but away. I hope I start to feel better soon. Feeling like this just makes you depressed.

Plus we've had some financial setbacks. The truck was making a weird noise, and was due to have the tranmission flushed. So DH went and had it done, it cost over $130. THEN it was still making the noise. My BIL said it sounded like the rear end going out, which would run us around 1200. Chad went to have the tires rotated and balanced(free since we purchased the plan when we bought the tires) and they said that both the left and right front ball joints were bad. One about to go the other going. I have no idea how much that costs. Then yesterday afternoon the transmission went out. Hopefully the rear end wasn't that but the transmission. But the transmission itself will probably be several thousand dollars. Which of course we don't have. So all the vacation money will go towards it and the rest on a dreaded credit card. Which stresses me out. The $400 I make a month for Ivy will thankfully pay for it quickly, as long as nothing else happens. So our trip is not going to happen. Chad wants to still go and put all the repairs on a card and pay it off with half the Ivy money, using the other half for the rest of the trip not saved for yet. But I have to be the responsible one. We just need to get it all paid off. If we can then our whole tax return is ours to do what we want with(unless something else breaks down). We can always go next year. I am however going to ask him about just going for one night(staying off site) and going to MNSSHP so we can have that fun and I can meet everyone. What a bummer when we worked so hard to save for this trip. Of course the stupid truck has to be falling apart. I'm not canceling it until the last minute, I have until August. You never know what could happen. If the Lord wants us to go He can provide the money for everything.

On a high note the insurance option that we chose was chosen. We will have higher co-pays and are responsible for 20% after the co-pay, but at least it's a normal policy and the pregnacy will be covered. We can always pay off the hospital bills a little at a time. Hopefully I'll still get medicaid so it won't be an problem. Since I don't know how I can come up with the $1000 deductible by 28 weeks now.

God has worked out our insurance problems with the kids, and now with us. So I know He is big enough to work out the truck problems. Just maybe not how I want Him too.

I can't believe how many pages have flown by. What happened? I can't say when or if I will be able to go back and see. So if someone could PM me a summery that would be wonderful. :flower3:

Hi Kay! It's nice to see you. We've missed you!

Glad to know you and baby are ok. What is Ivy? Hope you feel better soon.

Helloooo.
I just read back and I am :lmao: about Marita trying root beer!

Also laughing on the happy homemaker tips: washing phones I get but remotes!!!! So Betsy where are our cupcakes? I was too tired to tell you my secret.... any cake/cupcake/frosting is better with amaretto (almond extract). A lil vanilla, a splash of amaretto.. YUM.

Yes Kay- it is hard to get poison ivy through clothes but it can be done! One of my teachers was immune and his favorite trick was to touch it on quizzes to confuse us. I didn't laugh too hard when the guy next me when to touch that "little tree" that the teacher just rubbed and not only got the question wrong but got it on his hands and arms. My special talent is I can spot poison ivy even when it is being tricky (it is a very tricky plant- it can look a lot of different ways). Very usefu skill for a busy mama. See my education isn't going to waste at ALL ;)

Hi Kimmie- Ivy is MommyP's babysittee. She is a doll for MommyP but a terror for her own parents.. and the source of "Ivy money" which is supposed to be fun money but is no, sadly, truck money.

We just got back from Podunk, Kansas visiting some country friends. I got to see 12 hr old kittens! And pick some fresh cilantro. The kids had a blast with a huge slip-n-slide pimped up with various bits of playground equipment and extra hoses.

This rainy cool weather made me sleepy!!

Went and got food then had myself a nap. I hate shopping in the rain. Especially this kind of rain that is off and on and stops raining as soon as you have your groceries in the car....:headache:

Twinkie-- are you having a better day today. They have such cute maternity clothes out now. I am just glad I wasn't pregnant in the summer. Because in the winter I didn't even wear sweaters because I was hot all the time.

Lil Blue -- still waiting to see another pic of T.J. Babies grow so fast.

good afternoon kids!

Hopee veryone is fine and dandy.

I'm attempting to make lasagna. The meat is browning as I type. I'm afraid I have way too much meat and not enough ricotta. My Irish mom told me how to make it,but unfortunately, didn't specify quantities:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: you know, ' hamburger, ricotta, mozzarella, noodles, some salt, sugar and garlic. I guesstimated on the meaning of "some" :rotfl:
My family better eat this...

Moooo Hoooty Poly !!! you made it to 300 posts.

I never heard of sugar in there. Or are you making your own sauce :confused3

Yes, I'm making my own sauce. I always add sugar when I
make my own sauce. Cuts the acidity of the tomatoes.

still raining there Nab? Clouds threatened to let loose all day,but now the sun is shining.
Did you get a nap? I'm getting to like naps!
Your children get out of school really late- do they have a lot of breaks throughout the year? Kids here get out this week and go back after Labor Day- cept of course the college kids :)

We just got back from the park for a pic-a-nic but it's really windy out today. The kids ate then played and played and played. I kept thinking, "That's right kids, run amuk so you'll nap like angels later..." and guess what? All are asleep now. So I'm off to do my chores like dishes, laundry, pot stirring, dog poop, etc.

Curse-ed dirty laundry! :laundy: disposible clothes!

Twinkie- Podunk sounds like a swell town! A little cilantro will do-ya. It takes over other flavors.
12 hour old kitties? Awwww! I love their little mews and sweet smell and soft fur. I bet your girls loved em!

hey its me.......we are waiting for a bad storm system coming thru....could do that tornado thingie......hail and high winds too........I am sitting waiting to cook .....my supper......

I Love to cook, I love to eat,........but I hate to do the mess .......

I love this recipe......cause i use a jigger or so when I make my frosting....

One jug of vodka and four to six vanilla beans with a tiny slice down the side......and put in the jug of booze and then wait....put it in a dark cupboard for a few weeks......it is OUTSTANDING........some of the rug rats would say....you putting booze in the frosting and I would just say....yah a jigger or so.....it is good though ......HONEST:angel:

Poly -- didn't think we had that many holidays so I looked it up.

6 Professional Developement days for the teachers.( one for these is actually June 29th so the kids are done June 28th :confused3 )
2 weeks off for Christmas/New Years
1 week in March
