Twinkie - I hope you get the house! Sorry about your storms! I could never live in the middle protion of the country. I am terrified of tornados! I saw that there were bad stroms in Kanas, a whole town leveled. I hoped it wasn't you.

Thanks for the advice. I need gum. That will help, I remember that. I don't have any lemons, I can't stand the thought of kool-aid and if I eat chips(what kind of chips?) I will gain a brazillion pounds. I had toast this morning, but now the taste is back. I guess this is it from here on out. I didn't start feeling better with Kaleb until after 13-14 weeks. Last night at bedtime I was still feeling sick! That's new.

We stayed home from church because I'm sure my green face would be a dead give away that I'm pregnant and I'm not ready for them to know yet.

I think I'm going to go play sonic with the boys.

Had to turn the thermostat back to heat this morning. It is downright chilly !

skimmed through the last few pages- boy am I behind.

Nab- hope you're feeling better today. must be headache season. The youngest had one before her concert- but felt better once the band started ; the oldest called me at 1AM with a migraine- she was at the University fieldhouse for Relay for Life. So, my husband was at work, so the the youngest and I took a roadtrip !

Celery and Dablue- congrats on the timeshare- it is beyootiful.

BN- hope your daughter is feeling better today.

I love those Cape Cod 40% reduced fat kettle potato chips - they are carb-alicious! I've been eating Sun Chips lately though, because they have more fiber than potato chips.

I went to church this morning after having taken a hiatus for a while. There were lots of new babies and expectant mommies.

I love Sun Chips! They are delish,aren't they?

My daughter is still not feeling well. She got up this morning,had lunch, then had to go back to bed . She just woke up and has the deepest,darkest circles under her eyes. She needs to get up and study a bit- This is te last week and a half of classes and two of her goofy professors are giving quizzes this week, then full blown exams next week on the last class day! Then the finals begin !

poly, I sure can relate to it taking a while to get over a migraine - make sure your DD drinks plenty of fluids. I always swig extra water when I get one to hydrate myself. think it helps me feel better quicker.

I've been trying to not eat too many Sun Chips at 200 calories per mini-bag. But I do have them once or twice a week.

No news lately on the grandpuppy, but I get to see my daughter and her pup NEXT WEEKEND!!!!! We'll be giving her a call later today to get the scoop on her plans. I'm not sure how long she's staying. I'm hoping it will be for at least a week!

It's finally raining here, and pretty hard too. We needed rain so badly! The retention pond behind my house was practically empty.

Dh just made liver and onions, which I normally love, but today I can't stand the thought of it!!
Been putzing around with this one work file for 3 days now... I think I'm done and replicate it and then I find other things to do differently, so I keep doing them over.....

Well my headache is sort of gone. It is just a nagging spot now hopefully it will go away and not go crazy again.

I made it to church to see all the beautiful dresses. Hannah was funny because she would look at them and oh look mom sequins, look mom a veil, I don't like them long, too plain. I want my hair that way.

Poly-- I feel for you dd how could she study with at headache. I guess you didn't get to see Queen then.

Mommy P-- what church do you belong to? Are you waiting until you show to tell them? You know you are going to have to gain weight right.... Feel better.

Twinkie -- can't wait to here about the house both of you like. Hubby is on a kick of looking at model homes. We saw one today that was beautiful if you win the lottery.

Glad you're getting some rain, Marita. But I'm sure the people who are visiting WDW today aren't too happy about it!

I don't eat liver any more except chicken liver pate once a year at the chicken dinner place at Frankenmuth.

I'm with the others who said that travelers checks are like cash. I wouldn't think they'd have any trouble using them at the desk at the resort.

Moo, the rain was over in 20 minutes, so no big deal for vacationers. And none is in the forecast again for the rest of the week. We have had some major brush fires, so the heck with tourists, let them wear ponchos!!!

By the way, merchandise sales always shoot up when it's raining.

Alice- hi! I know nuthin about travelers checks... but wanted to say hi.

Nab- yes- we started joking with the realtor to keep his eyes peeled for 30K laying on the street as that would really help us get a nicer house I would love to build but the only thing we could afford with 4 bdrms would be a split level so I am going to end up with a "used" house but a better floor plan

so the realtor emailed me another listing that looks promising.... nicer house, less nice yard.. what to do???? wait and see? make an offer on the one we liked yesterday? it is really hard being out of town.... of course those listings can be decieving...

MP- you don't eat the whole bag of chips.. just a few, with a couple of swigs of lemonade.... it really works... of course anything salty would work.... as for weight... I have no idea how one controls one's weight while pregnant. Actually some research suggests that your body has a preferred pregnant weight so you will gain as little or as much as it takes to get you there regardless of what you eat. However for me with the twins, I didn't eat much because I was sick the ENTIRE time but I got as big as a house. For reals. With golden child I ate what I wanted but for the first time in my life I had NO DESIRE for sweets. It was wierd. I gained very little weight and had to buy new smaller maternity clothes. So what do I know?
