EEEkS!

We're leaving TONIGHT!!!!

The last time we flew at night, it was a huge, massive disaster with Norah.

See, we are flying employee standby so we were waiting for an "empty" flight (a flight with enough room for all of us). Me and Dallen are flying first class :cool2: but I wont brag on and on and ON about it....

I'm flying first class!!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Sorry, I do have to "dress up" for it, but it's a small trade off. I'll uses my best ex-Nordstrom Cosmetics Lady smoothness. I probably wont jump on the spaceous leather reclining airplane seats or press the little call light repeatedly. I'm not promising anything. And, before you ask, I'll refrain from bringing my own beverage in a massive plastic vessel with flexi-straw.

I'm almost packed. Anything we forget we can pick up at the local Walmart or Tarjay.

What am I forgetting?

WOOO HOOOOO!!! First Class!

You can be all :snooty: Sounds like you just need to be sure to take something to entertain little Miss N!!! Is she taking her new Build a Bear friend?

Did you find some shorts for the boys?

We are going to miss you so much this week!

Wow! Busy couple days!

Littleblue - Fancy meeting you here! WELCOME! How'd you find us? I often wonder what makes someone click on our thread..

Uma - Have fun on your trip! We'll miss you! So, if you are riding in First Class with your son...who is riding with Norah? I hope this flight goes more smoothly than your last. Take video if it doesn't. ;)

Twinkie - I hope you guys found a house! Can't wait to hear.

Everyone else - Hi!

I am feeling sick as a dog again today. I've been drinking ginger ale, but it isn't helping. We're supposed to go to Blizzard Beach on Friday, I hope I don't feel like this then!!!

On the plus side the baby is the size of a lentil bean and this week will start moving it's arms and legs(nubs). lol. And it's heart starting beating this week. It's amazing how something so small can have a beating heart and moving limbs!

Uma, have fun! Rediscover whatever you need to. First class, dang!!!!!!!!!!!!. I am jealoues

We will miss you!! Lots of love from your friends!!

Hi MommyP, sorry you are feeling poorly.

Saying that DH bought liver to cook soon probablyu wont help?

Wow, it is amazing how fast the Kentucky Derby race gets over, isn't it?

Marita, I loved the little bow tie on the jockey's silks too.

I thought it was cool how the winning jockey gave Street Sense a little bath before he arrived in the winner's circle.

It was kind of fun to see the queen. Wonder what else she has on her agenda here in the states.

MommyP, hope your ucky tummy issue goes away in time for Blizzard Beach!!!

That sounds fun.

The red hair is a dead giveaway, Lil' G!!!!

:rotfl2: I remember trying to visit the family graveyard - back in Texas, no one had lived there for years... well next thing we knew we were in a pasture and a bull was starin at us!! We survived!! un mooooved!! :rotfl2:

I've never had a Mint Julip,I don't know what I am missing....

not a thing!

Lil G, you are a truly insightful person. And I agree with you, I never want to outlive my children. That must be the worst. I had an aunt who lost 5 of 6, and only one in infancy, the others as adults, plus her DH too. That poor woman. I hope she has peace now.

Little Blue, thanks for the Mint Julip recipe.

Bourbon??? Count me IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lil G I agree w/ Marita -

Bourbon - count me O*U*T!! ;)

Too funny, Blue!!!

Very true, Lil' G. My Grandma outlived four of her six children. I know she was happy to be back with her girls again.

I'll have a mint julep, hold the mint, please!

Hold the Bourbon here... and the mint... just make it a cosmo, or a glass of champagne!! ;)

MY Great - Grandma, lived to 98 years, was blind, and outlived quite a few children, and I remember when I was visiting her (In Texas) when we had to tell her a great grandchild died - a hit and run - it was awful!! Yet, she was the most amazing spirit - I cant tell you how proud I am that she was my greatgrandmother!!

and Lil G, about those begat'ns surely does remind me of 7 Brides for 7 Brothers!!!

Happy Saturday - I made DD day, it was all DH's fault tho - we bought her Heeley's . . . and a promise, not at WDW not at school... not in the house... we are NOT FUN!! :rotfl2:

I saw the Moo part of the thread title and it caught my eye. I also saw babynurse1's post of her farm on the first page. :goodvibes MommyP, I hope you get to feeling better soon too. :flower3:

Sandy, it sounds like you must have had a BAD experience with bourbon somewhere along the line! I just bought a bottle of Maker's Mark as a gift for my cousin's hubby last night. I was awfully tempted to buy some for myself, but decided to avoid the calories. I prefer my naughty calories to be in the form of chocolate.

Good evening, LittleBlue! Do you have a preference on what name or nickname we call you? Blue (although that might be confusing with Tammy's name, dabluestreaker)? Lil' Blue? LB?

If anyone else has any preferences relating to their names, please let us know! I usually just go by "Moo". Because it's shorter and easier to type ;)

I'm looking forward to hearing how babynurse's DD did in her rodeo event(s).

Moo, you are the sweetest!!

DD caught her team roping steer, but her partner missed the heels, so they are out of the running in that event. DD did get her thumb caught in the rope and it is bruised and swollen. Unfortunately, that is a very real danger in team roping and even professionals lose their fingers.

However, she has two more events tomorrow, and we will know if she qualifies for the finals after her performances. I'll let you guys know.

On a side note, one of our young cowboys (13) was riding a bull and got hung up in the rope. It was very nasty. They had the EMT's look at him, and it was very swollen and painful, but he didn't want to go to the hospital until he finished his roping events. So, he performed in two more events and then went to the hospital and discovered his arm was BROKEN!! I don't know how that kid did it. I will say that's not the first time I've seen that happen in rodeo. We were watching some Professional Bull Riders, and the guy gets stomped and BREAKS HIS LEG, but came back and rode his second bull that night, before going to the hospital to have it set. How many other sports does that happen in?

BLUE: I'm so glad you came back to visit. I  U!! I'm telling you people she is the absolute bestest.

I didn't read all the way back, as I have to go, but I promise to catch up soon.

Hey all. I haven't caught up yet, but I figured I'd tell you our big news.

We bought a time share with Fairfield/Wyndam today.
:rotfl2:
Kinda stupid, eh?
Oh well.
So instead of being at Pop in September, we'll be across the street at Bonnet Creek.
And we'll have a pull out sofa bed in the living room area for anyone who wants to stay over (hint hint Marita).
And lots of cool activites like mini golf and a lazy river! So everyone can come visit!
I'm so excited. Now I've just got to figure out how to pay for it.

Hi everyone......hubbies two brothers threw him out tonight......told him he is to sleep in his own bed and they are staying with mom......

Lil G........I am always amazed at how wonderful you put things in the right order........yes I am sad that my dear mother in law of almost 40 years is dying......I do do love her......Today our son, our son in law and hubby and myself went to the assisted living facility and took all her furniture and clothes home.....took three trucks and two hours to completely strip this room......Alot of the eldery ladies that live there were very upset that clara is not coming back.....had a hard time to tell them ....
A year ago I lost my dear sister to that dreaded C disease......she was a sweet sister and I didnt want her to die ever .......that is how I feel for everyone......just want to take care of everyone and sit around forever ....having a beer and some pizza.....yup I like a cold beer in the summer.....but to many carbs most of the time....'
I am exhuasted but wanted to update you all........
see you on my next stop in

Pumba, hugss again to you and DH  that must be so hard. I am feeling it come on with my mom, hopefully not for a while, but it is in the air. in the talks....

Babynurse, yikes, I sure am glad my kids didnt play rodeo!! Although my DD tore a muscle at lacrosse some years ago and had major surgery to have it repaired (major $$ that insurance didn't cover too). I was not too happy when she went to play in college again, but all is good so far.

Celery, congrats on the purchase!Just down the road from where I work.

Send us a link to some pics??????

I'd be all for a meet there. If we get the Epcot view and we're higher than the 2nd floor, we should be able to see the fireworks.
How cool would that be?

BN, so sorry to hear that your daughter had an injury today. Hope she is able to do OK tomorow. Yikes on that kid's broken leg! :scared1:

Celery, CONGRATS on your purchase! The photos look really nice. What made you decide on that vs. DVC? Just curious.

:grouphug: Pumba, glad to hear that your hubby took a rest tonight. Even if it was "forced". I'm sure moving his mom's things out of the facility was emotionally rough for both of you. I also know how hard it can be on your MIL's friends that she is no longer there. And the caregivers too. My Grandma had some really nice ladies who watched over her.

Where has Nab been today??? I haven't seen her since this morning. I don't recall her saying that she would be away. Hope everything is OK and she was just out and about.

Moo - MUCH cheaper. $200 bucks a month for 10 years then 40 a month after that.
Plus it doesn't expire.
DVC expires in 2049 or something like that - Marita? Do you know?
Plus it can be used almost anywhere without a penalty.
